Food could have been better, but good facilities and beds.

The hotel was pretty good beds were comfy good facilities, however not enough opening hours for children. For the restraint the cocktails were poor, very expensive and not worth the price and for breakfast they had no regular sausages only weird leek sausages, not suitable for children.

Clean well appointed Hotel but dated ..

Reviewed By LondonLockwood

Nothing really to complain about tbh .. Staff were very accommodating.. breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty .. Great location .. minutes from beeyootiful coastal walk .. sleep quality fine .. Rooms large but in definite need of an upgrade .. As did the corridors etc .. The Inn seems to be a bit of an institution in Port Rush .. needs a bit of TLC !

Dinner and cocktails

Stopped here for dinner. We didn’t have a reservation but it was no trouble to seat eight of us. The staff are very friendly. This place is a must see for Game of thrones fans. Loved how dogs were welcome, maybe I’ll bring mine next time. I ordered the burger and chunky fries. They were delicious. Well portioned and reasonably priced. I also had a couple of pornstar martinis which were just perfect. The whole group were very pleased with their meals. I was so impressed that I decided to book a night to stay here in July. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic meal and fantastic staff

Tonight we visited the visited the carvery with our 2 daughters aged 6yrs and 4yrs. Immediately upon arrival we were warmly greeted and the girls were too, this family atmosphere continued through out the whole meal, where the 2 chefs Ollie and Ikea went above their duty to help find a suitable section of food for starters and then when the 4yr decides no dinner a alternative option of goujon and chips was offered, which was extremely kind and much appreciated as it saved us a possible meltdown ? ? ? ? This was very kindly served by our lovely waitress Pat who obviously adores children which was apparent as she was excellent with them, and making sure they were okay and had everything they needed and wanted, would definitely take her home to be our nanny?Thank you to Pat,Ollie and Ikea for giving us a relaxed family night. We will definitely be back again

Very disappointed

Reviewed By coley66

The hotel is the worst Premier Inn we have stayed in. It needs a complete refurb and good clean. We had a family room and a double room. The bathrooms were very shabby with stains. Each guest only allocated one pillow but I did request extras which we did get. Rooms only cleaned every 3 days. Breakfast next door was very mediocre. No choice of milks. Only semi skimmed. No fruit salad. Won’t be going back

Overall there isn't anywhere else I would stay when over in northern Ireland, excellent hotel.

Fabulous!

Stayed just for one night but was so tempted to stay for a second!!! We were given a choice of room in their new modern building. Decided to take up the free upgrade. It was just wonderful! Some tweaks still needed - struggled to get electric blind to work, bath mat didn’t fit under shower door and no where to hang a second wet towel but minor complaints in what is a wonderful suite! My only real advice would be to improve pictures. Many pictures look really old fashioned when in fact in the main building it isn’t old fashioned just old and beautiful!! I almost didn’t book it because of the pictures and that would have been a huge mistake!!! Wonderful breakfast delivered to our room the next morning though could have eaten in dining room.

We are just back from our amazing stay here and I can’t fault it at all! The staff were all super friendly especially the lovely bartender (sorry we didn’t catch your name!). The spa facilities are great too! Our room was super clean and beds were so comfortable. The best bit of all was the view from the room! Could see the ocean and watch the sunrise if you’re up early enough. Amazing.
