Surrounded by exuberant natural beauty, Alta Gracia is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. 32 Suites, restaurant, bars, outdoor activities installations, a pool, amazing gardens and topnotch service, makes of Alta Gracia an absolute must see when visiting Paraguay.
Could have been excellent, but turned out overpriced for the service it offers
Reviewed By ViajerocampeonThis place is great, but way overpriced for what it actually offers. Furthermore, management definitely needs improvement. Set in a beautiful landscape, you are able to enjoy Paraguayan nature at its best. Great rooms, great pool. Great restaurant with fine dining and breakfast as well. However, when it comes to service, our experience was was pretty bad, especially in relation to price. There was only one person attending the pool on a Saturday, which is supposed to be a high traffic day. Thus, when asked for food or drinks, we had to wait for hours. Then they never took the plates or cups (by the way, never mind stuff like kechup, knife and fork, napkins, ice, etc., you know, the basics, which actually never came). When asked for a simple beach umbrella, the response was equally and desperately slow. After burning in the sun for like half an hour, the umbrella finally showed up. All this is very sad, because with a good management (the manager was no where to be found, except at around 5pm, when the day was ending), the place could be among Paraguay's finest. Finally, why on earth would you not have enough stock on a 40 degrees celsius day of ice cream other than the evidently left-over banana flavor from last weekend which absolutely no one wanted? My advice: if management does not improve (which would be a pity), move to one of the hotels in the nearby town of San Bernardino.

Reviewed By larissa2020everything was amazing. Top notch service, food and activities. We had a great time. the only thing we wished they had was a generator because there was a power outage throughout the whole city for more than 12 hours without power. You MUST have a car to get around there, there are no taxi services. Staff were helpful to find us a ride and upgraded our room. Highly recommend it!!

El espacio es muy lindo, amplio y lleno de naturaleza. Las habitaciones están perfectas para descansar con todo el confort

Hermoso y exclusivo hotel boutique
Reviewed By rramirez-200El hotel está compuesto de dos casas distantes, nosotros estuvimos en la Casa de Val. Es una antigua casona restaurada con muy fino gusto y detalles. Son solo 4 habitaciones siendo la mejor María Paula por su tamaño y vista privilegiada del lago. Tiene un hermoso patio y piscina, con servicio de barra y resto durante los fines de semana, el resto del tiempo las comidas vienen de la otra casa donde funciona un café. Realmente un hotel boutique, súper exclusivo y una destacable atención al cliente, súper amables y pendientes de todas tus necesidades. Excelente opción sobre todo para parejas.

Un lugar hermoso y tranquilo
Reviewed By aflei09Fuimos en familia, la verdad que el lugar queda cerca, tenes también a 10 min. la ciudad de San Bernardino, protocolo covid completo,amplia habitacion, baño limpio,cocina equipada (incluso la dueña nos presto un horno más grande para unas ricas pizzas) el lugar hermoso, rodeado de árboles y naturaleza, piscina bajo sombra prácticamente toda la tarde, la atención es excelente muy amable la anfitriona, precio accesible, abundante desayuno! que incluye el costo, varias hamacas en todo el patio, mucha naturaleza, acogedor y tranquilo, agradable para pasar en familia,volveríamos sin dudas.

Un fin de semana de pesadilla
Reviewed By MariaDollyF1la habitacion sucia, recientemente pintada pero sin ocuparse de limpiar, el quincho terriblemente sucio, ni se ocuparon de limpiar la mesa, los cubiertos, sucios, se nota muy abandonado el lugar, supuestamente tienen vivero de orquideas, estan todas secas las plantas, montar a caballo, tampoco es posible los animales son agresivos, el lugar no tiene seguridad, no es un lugar recomendable. la persona encargada del lugar, se muestra prepotente y maleducado
