After living in Seward for the last 6 months with somewhat limited food options, the opportunity to eat BBQ was a real treat! The brisket sandwich and house made BBQ sauce was super tasty. The cafeteria-style seating made for a great social atmosphere. Unique beer options and all of the veg is grown by the owner in his greenhouse!

Excellent service take-out or dinning the food made on the spot and the quality one of the best. When your done fishing for the day it the crown jewel to sit down and enjoy the meal. Plus all the other conveniences make it a one stop shop.

The Kingfisher Roadhouse specializes in local Alaskan fish and seafood. In addition we offer burgers, salads, and an assortment of other culinary delights. We strive to source our food and drink from local business' whenever possible.
Yes, it doesn't look like much but the food is worth walking thru the door! Great wine list and wonderful food. We had the salmon appetizer and wow, it was wonderful. The Chicken curry pot was perfect, if you like curry. The homemade cookie and ice cream topped it off! Thanks for caring enough to have good food, wait staff, and wine.

Excellent meal. Our family loved the "adult macaroni and cheese". The Mixed berry cobbler ala mode for dessert is a hit. Great varied menu and prices are reasonable if you use the "bar/lunch" menu and not just the one from the main restaurant. You can order off of either in the main dining area.

The historic Gwin's Lodge is located in Cooper Landing in the Kenai Peninsula in south central Alaska, which is known as "Alaska's playground." We are the closest lodging near the confluence of two world-class salmon streams - the Kenai River and the Russian River. Gwin's Lodge is open seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and has 17 cabins that can each accommodate 4 to to 6 guests with two cottage houses that can each accommodate up to 12 guests.
Stopped in on while driving from Homer to Anchorage. This was October and all the Kenai River sports fishing guides and customers were long gone for the year. So didn’t expect much. But, ordered the chowder and loved every bite. Rick was cheerful and friendly....MoreThanks for the support! YES we need people to stop so if you all can take some time and enjoy the area and try and plan that in your trip! Thanks so much. Current revised hours are 11AM-8PM Thursday through Monday. Closed Tuesday & Wednesday.

We stopped in the Sunrise Inn for breakfast, which they serve until 11 am. We both had omelets, the chili-cheese omelet and the Denver omelet. Both were excellent. The eggs were fluffy and the vegetables in the Denver were cooked perfectly. The chili was very good, too. They had a choice of cheeses, pepper jack or cheddar. Homes fries were cooked perfectly and the wheat bread was very good. Coffee was very good, which is crucial for a breakfast place. Prices were reasonable, the dining area and restrooms were very clean. Service was very good. All in all, we would highly recommend the Sunrise Inn for breakfast.

Great food truck in Cooper Landing! You can't miss it! It's a Blue Food Truck in front of the Alpine Motel and the day we were passing through they had someone dressed up in a Yeti costume. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and my husband ordered the Italian sandwich. Both were very good. Next time we are passing though we will make sure to stop again.

The choices for restaurants at the Kenai Princess Lodge are pretty limited, but this was really pretty nice. The food was good, and the service was friendly & efficient. The rustic decor created a nice atmosphere for our breakfast at the lodge out in a remote location. A little pricey, but that's to be expected in such a remote place. The views outside are amazing. This served our purposes well when we stayed at the Kenai Princess Lodge.

Nothing special, but cheaper than the dining room. The smoked salmon chowder is very good. Burgers and crab cake sandwiches are fine, but not great. It is very small, with only about 8 tables. Service is casual and friendly. Some decent Alaskan microbrews on tap. The outside deck is very nice when it is warm enough, but that isn't that often.
