This is a lovely wee restaurant nestled off the beaten track. The decor is stunning very funky and fun.I went with a group of friends and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. The restaurant served fresh warm bread with two dipping sauces which was most enjoyable. I had the filet mignon for my main and it was done to perfection. The potato croquette was creamy and delicious. For dessert my friend and I shared the tiramisu which was rich and very tasty. The presentation of each course was very elegant and tasteful. It is certainly a dining experience to rave about and to return to many times. Keep up the good work, you do an amazing job!

When you're not sure you can face one more tortilla, La Folie offers a welcome change. It offers lighter fare with a unique flair. It also has a lovely story behind it. The owner worked as an au pair in a small town in France almost 20 years ago and learned to love preparing crepes during her stay but wanted to give them a Mexican twist. She has succeeded in this goal with both the menu and the cafe-like ambiance of her outdoor cafe. I had the Crepe Azteca, which featured chicken and elote (corn) in a light cheese mixture, while my husband had the Crepe Bolognese, ground beef in a tomato sauce. Both were delicious. We were served a generous bowl of small toasted bread with homemade herbed butter and our crepes also came with small salads. The menu also includes appetizers, sandwiches, and hamburgers, and a nice variety of beverages, both alcoholic and not. We can't wait to return and try some of the sweet crepes, which look scrumptious.Thank you so much for your review, As I said, is really a pleasure to make what we love and find that our customers love it. This is also a real motivation for us. Thanks a lot !!!

The meal started out with some baskets of very nice bread with butter and herbs.I had seen a photo of the Sunday special Prime Rib roast au jus dinner. What I received was an excellent cut of meat done medium rare. The meat was tender, very different from most Mexican beef. The au jus had great taste and the horseradish had a bit of a bite. The accompanying baked potato was done to perfection as were the vegetables. The other Sunday special is Beeff ribs, one person at the table had that and it was so big it looked like it came right out of the Flintstones! The view we had of Manzanillo Bay with the sunset was outstanding!

Not overwhelming; the amuse bouche was a mess of overcooked seafood lasagna with a tomato sauce that tasted like condensed soup. The bisque was okay, the salad was okay, the duck was good and the ravioli was between okay and good. The view is very nice but quite dark for dining after the sun sets.
