Last December, we went out to have some place to chill out and อุ่มเอิบ coffee was our destination that time which was an awesome experience surrounded by beautiful nature such as rice fields and a little canal which hold a lot of fish. That's such a nice place for enjoyment with a cup of excellent coffee among friends.

This restaurant is opposite a petrol/gas station near the junction of 108/1009 (Chiang Mai & Doi Inthanon roads).
I'm posting a couple of pictures here which I hope will help identify it clearly for folks as unfortunately I couldn't find any English language links; a bit of a surprise as I wasn't the only felang in the joint, admittedly though the other foreigners visiting at the time I did also had Thai family.
As a theme restaurant I found this place utterly charming. The restaurant majors on Khao Soi which I found to be very good indeed (though I have had better) which is served in a truly unique style using coconut shell as the utensils, plates, condiment holders etc. Even chopsticks and urinals get the coconut treatment and there are a collection of coconut helmets to wear if you want to really get into the theme.
Given that the food in the National Park is widely viewed as poor I'd heartily recommend a visit to this restaurant, I found it to be fun, the service was fantastic, the food very good and the beer was cold!
