Situated in the last Indian town of Chitkul, at a rather towering altitude of 3550m (11650 feet), Zostel Chitkul is placed in the middle of a picture-perfect setup of snow-clad mountains, tall pine trees and dramatic skies, all marking for a place that is rather unnatural. The last village on the Indo-Tibet border, Chitkul, is truly one of the hidden gems of India.

Perfect place to stay in chitkul
Reviewed By Abhi5684It’s was quite a drive to reach chitkul specially since we reached there at the middle of the night. The camps are setup nicely, with a water stream flowing within the campsite, the staff was courteous, linen was clean and food was basic but good. You get a clear access to baspa river from here, one can simply sit and enjoy.
3. Abode The Clouds
The Homestay is one of the very few Homestays in Chitkul that has still maintained its old world charm with wooden architecture and beautiful balconies with a view. With only seven guest rooms, Abode the clouds is small and personal—run by innkeepers who really make it feel like home. Out of 7 rooms, three are standard size rooms, one with attached washroom and others without washroom.
