Nice decorated apartments in the port of Chios. Great choice for holidays or business!!! We have our own fleet with rental cars - motorcycles and electric bicycles. Free use of city bicycles for every customer.

Reviewed By H335DR_I reserved a room for day use from 6 pm to 11 pm..I paid for hole day ammount as it is normal because of the timing..the guy told us to wait for 1 hour for the reception to open..we were waiting for 1 hour with all our luggage and when we arrived the reception told us there was no available room up to 11. of course i didnt got any money back , not even help to find another hotel room to stay..Greeks want to make money without even knowing the basics.. *In case of a stupid answer i am studing hotel management and i feel really sad for this situation! Thank u city point! Have a good season!

A nice place to base a visit to an unusual island
Reviewed By BalosFanWe've been fans of the Aegean islands for around twenty years and we fancied seeing Chios for the first time. Getting there required an international flight to Athens and then a short local flight to the island itself. Aegean Airways own both carriers and ticketed us all the way through, so the only downside is the wait at Athens - our baggage was ported straight through. Chios airport is tiny but, in our experience,efficient and the taxi to our holiday home in the fishing village of Katarraktis took well under half an hour. Katarraktis is still how we remember and love Greek fishing villages, facing east across the Chios Strait. Ostria Apartments does the same and on our first night we speculated at the display of ruby-red lights glimmering across the water. At breakfast it was obviously a wind-farm in Turkey! We liked our private balcony but had wondered about shade. That was no problem because the access balcony is in shade in the morning and it was easy to sit out there when needed. We had a nice sized room with a modern bathroom but (fairly normal for Greece) no shower curtain. There is a small but usable kitchen area with hotplate. We take egg-cups everywhere and you will need to get coffee filters. Everything is beautifully clean. Other Aegean islands, such as Samos and especially Ikaria have plenty of fresh water, but on Chios the water-supply is limited and you will be advised not to drink the tap-water because of the mineral content. (The locals seem to concur and it may be that there are some unusually high levels of chromium minerals, perhaps due to the volcanic soils.) Not a problem brushing your teeth or making coffee, we'd say. Katarraktis doesn't display conspicuous wealth - there were few new cars - but, despite some disused older houses, the village looks cared for and characterful. It has that elusive, unforced quality of quiet charm. There are two mini-markets - the one up a side-street and identifiable by its caged-birds has the better range but they are both helpful. Take your phrase book if you want to buy anything you can't point at. We had a good laugh when my request for butter was mistaken for batteries. The latter don't spread too well. There are enough places to dine out and the food is fine. We went to Meltaki most where we typically got two courses and two beers for just over 30 euros. We had decided not to hire a car for our short break, so we can't tell you how wonderful the mastic-growing area is or the wild area in the north-west, but I'm sure some other more adventurous visitors will do the honours in that regard. Enjoy!

Nice Place To stay
Reviewed By safak oWe stayed there for three nights. Apartmands are very nice. Clean, large and have a balcony view with sea.. There is a refrigulation with a bottle of water, coffee maker, kettle etc. There are two beaches that very closed. The location is in Volissos , it is about 1 h from Chios.. It is not an easy drive. But we stayed and enyojed very much.Hotel owner is very nice person. I do recommend that place. We did not get a breakfast. Don't worry there is a few places closed that yoyu can get there a breakfat about 6 Euros appox.

Reviewed By 207caner_Clean, large rooms with beatiful views. There is no restaurant in the hotel but you can cook in the room. There is oven, refrigator... Lovely lady runs the hotel is very helpful. Bathroom is clean and has hot water 7/24

Reviewed By nelofara481Comfortable suites with a great view of sunset and the sea. The owners are very kind and do everything they can to make your stay the most comfortable. Very close to two great beach bars - Yoso Beach and Nagos Beach.

Decent clean hotel
Reviewed By Work2Travel2014While this is not a 5 star hotel, it is clean and spacious. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast buffet is very good. This hotel is within walking distance to Karfas and Karfas beach area that has several good beach bars and restaurants. The pool area is nice and you can get a coffee by the pool.

st seven kilometers from Chios port and three kilometers from the airport it is located the sandy beach of Karfas. On the board of the bay just 30 meters from the sea and next to pinewood of Sain George you can find the newly built apartments " KARFAS SEA". There are studios (28m2 each) and apartments( 60m2 each one) with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and balconies with view to the sea. All the apartments have private bathroom, full equipped kitchen, refrigerator, TV, safe box, hairdryer and air-conditioning facilities. There is also a daily maid, garden and a private parking. Feel the blue near you...
Great location
Reviewed By pescetta_79I spent 1 week with my family. Dimitris -the owner- is very helpful. Our luggage didn't arrive with us and he called the airport for us the day after to get more information. He knows almost all the island as he is in turism business for 34 years. Ask him for restaurants, beaches, ect The apartment had one big terrace sea view and one smal terrace in the back. The rooms are cleaned every day. Spacious rooms, bathroom and a large kitchen/living room. There is a microwave, fridge, washing machine and a small kirchen area but you have all you need for a sea holiday. Very windy therefore be careful when you lay out the beach towels. I strongly suggest this place and again, Dimitris was a perfect owner!

Giosonas
Reviewed By George J. LWe spent a week at the beginning of August at Victoria's Rooms. Its a very nice family run hotel, which is very near the beach of Giosonas in the North East of Chios. It also has its own restaurant with great food prepared by the family as well. The rooms are a little bit small but comfortable and clean.
