I was there to celebrate my birthday with my family. I made the booking like 30 mins before I arrived so only 1st-floor rooms were available. I recommend you to book the 2nd-floor so you can enjoy a higher view. The room space was a little bit small as it was made of the shipping container but what I like about this hotel was that the minibar items were free! and you can take away. The breakfast was good. There was one local food looks like noodles. I could not remember the name. You should try once you are in this province. if you would like to have a small dinner party outside the room, there is a space near the river with a cold wind. the staff will bring you like dishes, spoons, glasses and anything else that you need. But make sure that you won't make any loud noise to disturb any other guests. By the way, the owner is very kind. Thanks to him. My dad enjoyed sitting outside very much.

Rim Khong Road, Chiang Khan District, first time came, very impressed. It is a village with mountain views and along the Mekong River. The weather is not too hot and not too cold. There are many local dishes such as khao jee, shrimp skewers. Anyone who has come to Chiang Khan and hasn't tried it will miss a lot. Sip coffee with mountain view plus Mekong river view. Suitable for family trips or with your loved ones. because the atmosphere is very good for relaxing

Nice place to stay in lovely Chiang Khan but hotel is a little expensive for what it is. Location is good at the quiet end of walking street corner of soi 5 near to restaurants and over the road for the banks of the meakong river, room was nice with a balcony, clean, overlooking walking st, I booked the deluxe room which was on the 1st floor with no river view, double wooden doors to the balcony made the room a little noisy at times. Nice comfortable bed, fridge, tv, two bottles of water daily, no safe, room wasn't serviviced daily. Hot shower gave more of a stream of water then a spray, Breakfast was basic. Wifi was superfast, Hotel got busy on weekend with Thai tourists, the staff were helpfull and polite. Great spot to watch the monks early morning alms round, fully recommend getting up before 6am to observe this beautiful alms giving and the Thai people sitting in numbers waiting with there offering..my 3 day booking with agoda cost £142 if I was to visit Chiang Khan again I would not prebook rather just arrive and see what's on offer and maybe get a riverside room with nice views of the meakong exspecilly on weekdays for the same rate, but overall my stay at the Sri Chiang Khan was enjoyable but I would be more likely to recommend this hotel if it had cheaper rates.

10 of us booked five rooms from Baan Suan La Moon for 3 nights stay. It is 10 to 15mins walk to the famous walking street where u can find various local food, restaurants and plenty of shopping. The property consists of 6 units of wooden huts cater for 2 to 4 pax each units. The huts are clean and comfortable within a garden grown with fruit trees and various plants. There are free bicycles provided to explore the town or even further away to the fishing village. Owner of the property is friendly, helpful and always greet us with big smile. The owner too helped us to book tuk2, van and recommend some day trips to us. Though our booking did not come with breakfast, the owner did actually provide various local food, cup mee, bread/butter/jam and coffee/tea at the shared pantry for all of us. We even asked for permission to get fresh coconut fruits from their trees in the garden, which the owner happily told us to get as many as we wanted. We enjoyed our stay so much and will surely recommend to others! As a side note, Chiangkhan and its surrounding is indeed a beautiful place! We can't fault anything of our stay at Baan Suan La Moon, probably the only one thing we want to suggest is to provide hair dryer in each room instead of getting it from the owner when need to use.

Prebooked, we arrived early and were checked in without any fuss. Covered parking. A unique room, like a cabin, with a comfortable bed, great shower, TV, Internet, and a nice outdoor area to entertain friends or just relax. A common bar style table and stools are provided for any guest to use. They keep hot water, cups and coffee/tea here for your use. We would definitely return to this accommodation.
