Breakfast here was good and plentiful. Service was good, but slow. It wasn't a problem because we were on Mexican time anyway. It was inexpensive; definitely worth the price. We watched the lady behind the counter squeeze our orange juice into large glasses. The ambiance is pretty typical. Next time we're in Chelem we'll go there again. We own a house there so we WILL go back. It is one of the few places in Chelem where you can get breakfast.

My wife and I enjoyed our first outing to Tacomaya for lunch. Trip Advisor reviews about this place tell the truth. The food was fresh, tasty and ample. One serving of the taco salad and the cajun fish tacos was more than we could consume in one sitting (my wife saved me one of the tacos for later--yes!) The owners and principal staff, Trevor and Belinda (formerly of Saskatchewan) enjoy a loyal following in this beach side village, and now we know why! Thanks for the chat about what might be around the corner for you guys--buena suerte.

And evening with good friends ..and a hunger that was brewing ...we stopped in to try the local SPOT ..this place is always packed...so our adventure lead us to one of the most delicious meals we have hade in CHELEM ..
The atmosphere..the servers..the whole experience...we will be back again ...the menus full or wonderful treats to try ...and try we will ...when you go ...enjoy your self and try something different each time...and tell them THE PALMERS sent you

We ate there last night, January 20, 2018. The food was outstanding! If you order there, order fairly light. They bring you a bunch of free stuff before your meal - tacos, tamales, chips, etc... We decided after Reading the reviews we would take a walk over on Friday night....Great welcoming staff and owners..It was not that busy with only about a dozen or so people.The courtyard inside is beautiful and adds to the ambience . The menu consist of Hamburgers ..small and large .. And fast food . We choose to split an order of onion rings which you get eight big ones ,they were as good as reviewed. We also split three slider hamburgers ..tasty . The prices are more than reasonable. they have a beautiful pool of which you can use if desired. Also read they had not a liquor license.NOT TRUE... It is well posted and you can order whatever you wish. Enjoy your visits.!!!!!!

This is a great restaurant for good home style cooking from home! Martin and Jill are awesome hosts, and this has become the place to go to meet new people in town. Daily specials, especially the meatloaf, stroganoff, chicken cordon bleu, are super, along with great fish and chips, burgers and the best crab cakes i have had here. Jill and Martin are community oriented, hosting potlucks for American and Canadian holidays, art nights for local artists. Laid back and friendly, Its just a little taste of home!

We are the only and first place in the esmerald coast of Yucatan with a restaurant and sports bar & music house. Fresh seafood, pork, chicken and beef Yucatan specialities, plus gourmet international food. You can use our big and clean pool or enjoy the big second floor palapa with the best view of the ria with birds, flamencos and ever green forest. We also have a pool and room bar service open all over the year. We do breakfast till dinner and in the weekend Live music from local bands!..if you are thinking in coming to Chelem, this is the place to be!.

I have visited this restaurant about 6 times, hoping that the next meal will be better than the previous, however have been disappointed each time.
The only reason why I go to this restaurant is because of the Music bands upstairs and various expat activities. Now, when I visit this establishment, it is solely for the expat activities and music and I no longer order the food.

It‘s a wood fired pizza oven outside a colorful breezy welcoming dining space just off the main Churburna/Chelem highway on the Yucatán coast. Wow. Who would have guessed? Also serve pasta, lasagna, different salads (both dinner size and side salads), desserts. No alcohol. Owner is attentive and obviously wants you to be happy. If you don’t have phone service in Mexico, just text for Reservations through FB. Local artists (including the owner) display art next door. Go.

Local Mexican fisherman's restaurant with fresh ceviche and the best pescado frito in Chelem. He will even take your fish that you catch and cook it for you for a few pesos. Fish, shrimp ceviche is fresh with right amount amount of lime flavor. Off main road it is typical mexican cocina with plastic chairs and tables but dont be scared, the food is awesome!

This is our favorite restaurant in Chelem. Their ceviche is amazing. Service is very good. Our favorite dish is the fish with the cilantro cream sauce........simply delicious! The whole fried fish is always very popular and we need to try it some time. Never disappoints. Very popular with locals.
