Reviewed By pulsarboyWe loved this hotel. The location is isolated and quiet which was lovely, but being high up in the hills, the views, especially during storms were amazing. We had a car and anything we needed was just short and easy drive. The staff in the car park were really friendly and helpful and waiting for the trolley to the room never took long. we stayed in a waterfall villa and it was gorgeous, it was nice and spacious and we loved the split level living. The pool was big enough to bon about and swim in without being too big. My one and only gripe with the room is that the air-conditioning runs off of a plastic tag on the keys. This meant arriving at the room it was stuffy and hot (after a long drive from the north of the island), and also if you were out for a short time (ie for breakfast) and wanted to leave it running, this wasn't possible. I understand this may be an energy saving scheme but I would have thought it would be more efficient to to keep the room cool rather than letting it heat up (which it does very quickly as three walls are glass) and then run the air con at full blast to cool it down again. I would expect this at a budget hotel but at a luxury boutique hotel, I found this annoying, and the only reason I had have had to take a star off. The wifi was patchy however the staff were excellent and gave us a dongle to use until it was restored. One morning we had a visit from a beautiful flying snake. We had to ask for it to be removed as it started to size me up, and again they were very quick and efficient at doing this. The food was very good from what we had. Breakfast each morning was delicious, really good quality and fresh buffet items and then eggs cooked but the egg chef. We were never left wanting. We have the in room candle lit meal and everything about it was perfect. It was one of the best meals of our 2 week stay. The staff really set it up to make it look nice. If you have a vehicle, it is well worth visiting the coffee shop located vertically above the resort, it has some of the best views on the island and their French toast is out of this world! Reception staff were really pleasant and helpful too, arranging the candlelit dinner and arranging a late check out for us. We would definitely stay here again, the tranquility and setting were just amazing, the air con could have been better in the heat of summer.

Reviewed By clairemO15FAWe spent one month at Aochalong villa in December 2021. Excellent hotel with two beautiful swimming pools : one in a beautiful tropical garden and one with sea view. The staff is very nice and helpful, starting with ther manager. We are looking forward to coming back. Good price for money too.

It is so clean, the staff are so friendly and the food is clean and tasty. I stayed in 220 and it was spacious and very relaxing. Cocoville is in the perfect location for all of the fitness on the soi and you can walk to unit 27 in 3 minutes and Titan in 10 minutes. I highly recommend Cocoville and I will definitely be back soon.

Its very clean your room is serviced every day, water,tea,coffee fresh towels etc. It is very quiet which is what you need after a hard days training. The pool is great, beds are comfortable and if the notorious hard mattress that are everywhere in Thailand, they got me a nice soft pillow top no problems. The staff are great, i felt safe here and my belongings secure. I did have a villa to start but after a week moved into a pool access room which i love. All the major training camps Tiger,Unit 27, Dragon are all a few minutes walk away. there are 2 laundromats directly across the road a massage place right next door. i wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Fusion, i like it so much i have now extended my stay twice.

Reviewed By Samira MI was so happy I did my ASH+ / Sandbox Stay here! CocoRetreat was perfect for me: Really quiet, almost no other guests, and just so peaceful. Lush green gardens, very clean and well maintained. Very big rooms with daily cleaning. Also very very nice that there is a great cafe with a pool just next door in the sister hotel with very good wifi to work from. Food is healthy and tasty and all staff here is really friendly.

Cheap, clean rooms, and the staff are very friendly
Reviewed By 100julesfThe hotel is walking distance from the infamous Tiger Muay Thai gym. The rooms are clean with a nice big bed, and all the usual amenities. A special me mention goes to "May" the receptionist. She is super friendly , very helpful and her English is excellent. They have a small gym, serve breakfast and dinner and can take care of all your needs. The price was crazy cheap, and would definately recommend it if you want a short stay in this part of Phuket.

Reviewed By Julia JWhen we arrived at the hotel, it turned out that you could not pay by card, only in cash. They packed us with luggage onto a trailer to drive us up the hill to the hotel. We had to pack the suitcases for the trailer ourselves, because the luggage said that his back hurt. Neglected hotel, needs renovation. Ants in bed, no hot water, noisy air conditioning. The room is dirty and stinks. We got a room without a jacuzzi, but we do not cry because our friends had a jacuzzi in their room and it turned out to be inoperative and terribly dirty. All drinks from the room fridge are out of date !!! Service not nice!!! To eat a meal you have to go down a steep hill. Breakfasts are a nightmare. A small selection of dishes. Only: pasta, egg, sausages, pancakes, pineapple, watermelon, lettuce, tomato, toasted bread and that's all. Pasta, pancakes inedible. What's more, my whole group of friends fell ill after this food. Abdominal pain, diarrhea. Avoid this hotel. I've stayed in many hotels in Thailand and around the world. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

A charming hideaway, tucked away in the non-touristy parts of Phuket, with green surroundings, clean, run by a very nice family.

A home away from home
Reviewed By sineadgarryI stayed in a standard room for 5wks. The room was cleaned twice a week which was sufficient. The price for the room for the 5wks was the cheapest I could find on the Soi. The staff who tended to the grounds greeted me every morning with a smile & a “sawdaee ka”. Anything I requested from reception would immediately be looked after. I asked for a free standing fan as the air con was giving me a sore throat. I went out for the day & when I came back there was a brand new fan in my room. I actually broke said fan & again that day it was replaced for me. I offered to pay for the fan on check out as I had broken it & it was a reasonable sum. The lady Ta at reception was so lovely to me, she also organised my trip to Phi Phi. The wait for my laundry that I left in was a few days so I didn’t leave it in there again. There are lots of places on the Soi that do same day laundry. The lil doggo ‘Tanwa’ in the pic became my best pal for the 5wks. I went from being a non dog lover to completely falling in love with her. She waited at the top of the lane every night to walk me home. The food in the restaurant was lovely, I did get food poising one of the days from eating there but sure it’s Thailand & that can happen anywhere! I would definitely be back to stay here again.
