Reviewed By I9159NCjordandMy extended family took a trip to Sicily and stayed here while visiting Cefalu. This hotel is ideally situated a short walk outside of town (only takes about 5-10 mins by foot to get to the center of town) and has beautiful panoramic views of the sea. The accommodations are spacious with nice balconies from which to watch the sun rise and set. What really distinguished our stay was the exceptional service of the staff - particularly Laura. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She gave us her personal contact information and implored us to call and any time and even shipped a Kindle a family member left behind at her own expense! The grounds were meticulously maintained too. You won’t find better value or service for your stay in Cefalu!

A small, comfortable, fully-equipped apartment for you to enjoy an unforgettable holiday in the heart of wonderful Cefalu, which has been visited for centuries by travelers from all over the world. Our apartment is located in the town square in front of the extraordinary Arab-Norman Cathedral, one of the architectural jewels of Sicily. From here it is possible to walk to the Mandralisca Museum, which hosts a famous painting by Antonello da Messina; to start a walk up La Rocca, the hill overlooking the town from where a breathtaking view of the coast from Palermo to Messina can be enjoyed; or to go for a swim in the clear, blue sea near the picturesque local fishermen's port, along the street of the shopping. From Cefalu it is easy to travel by train to Palermo; to the magnificent Madonie Mountains and their nature park; to all the main sites of Western Sicily (Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Catania, Taormina and the volcano Mount Etna) with organized trips or with public buses; and also to the unique Aeolian Islands. Our apartment is on the first floor of Palazzo Villelmi, which dates back to the 15th century and still has a simple corner window from that period with a little column in the middle. It is a valuable document of the bourgeoisie taste from the Renaissance, showing also the signs of an inscription on its arch. The apartment is composed of 2 beautiful balconies overlooking the main square, living room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower, single bedroom, double bedroom in the loft and a sofa bed in the living room.
Excellent place to stay in the heart of Cefalu
Reviewed By mirt0hWe had a nice spacious room, good beds, ample space.- Bedrooms on the top floor, a sitting room annex kitchen on the lower floor. Friendly reception, help with carrying off the luggage to the room. Good bathroom. A bit narrow shower cubicle. We only stayed for two nights on a stop over so we did not use much of the other facilities such as the well equipped kitchen. It was nice to be able to walk within minutes to the central square with all the restaurants, coffee terraces literally within two minutes walk.

Reviewed By skimomklWe rented 3 rooms all very comfortable. The beach and old town is a 5 minute walk. The breakfast was very good and it was nice to sit in the garden for a glass of wine in the evening. The owners are very accommodating and helpful! Would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful Resort
Reviewed By JMHewerThe resort is situated high above the sea with views of 2 volcanic islands. The road up is winding and narrow but well marked. On arrival, leave your luggage in your car and ask for assistance as the walkways are all gravel which means you’ll carry your bag not roll it. The surroundings were peaceful and the pool was perfect for relaxing. Our only complaint is that the room was very hot and we could not control the temperature with the in room panel. We were told that guests like the room warm and that the hotel controls room temperature. There was no bathroom fan which meant showers created a sauna like environment in the room. The meals were delicious with a full breakfast buffet and a limited but wonderful dinner menu. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The " Medusa " is a studio that is part of the Residence Cala Grande, with a new structure within six furnished studios in an elegant and modern , all studios are located just 150 meters from the sea and 3 km from the historic center of Cefalu. The apartments are equipped with the following amenities: satellite tv conditioner Wi-Fi Gas BBQ (external) private . Private terrace with chairs and table common model intex pool ( above ground pool ) the studios are furnished with : double bed with latex mattress sofa bed ( 1 bed) kitchen with 4 burner stove, oven ventilated , fridge with freezer bathroom with shower , sink and bidet space in common , there is also a ping pong table . Free parking in front of the residence . Possibility to rent bikes, electric bikes, boat and quad biking are reserved at a discount to our customers.

The mini Apartment was very clean & had all the amenities required. The owner was very helpful & friendly with check-in process. Reccomended

Reviewed By DanikMCZI was in one apartment in first floor and there its just one problem. Through balcony came ants in kitchen and that was unpleasant. But on other side everything there was working and kitchen with bath were well-equipped. If you wanna be in calm centre of town go there and with luck take any room in upper part.

Villa L'Arca is a privately owned, self-catering Holiday complex with a fantastic view on Cefalù and its bay. It is just 3 km out of town so I advise you rent a car because the road is rather steep to walk. It is surrounded by vines, olive and citrus groves and lots of beautiful bougainvillae. A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO RELAX AND ENJOY THE SCENERY AFTER A DAY EXPLORING THE ISLAND, LAZYING ON THE BEACH, HIKING IN THE MOUNTAINS OR PLAYING GOLF.

Reviewed By YannickM965Our house at the residence was comfortable with all necessary amenities, big kitchen, TV, Internet, clean, perfect for a group of 6, terrace with a magnificient view on Cefalù. We had a really good stay. We have felt very welcome by Marjolein who took the time for making recommandations on restaurants/snacks or places not to miss. Our house was having a private terrace where you can stay in the evening and make a barbecue around olive trees. You will be located on a very quiet countryside only a few minutes away from the city, up the hill. The view from the residence on Cefalù is amazing. The residence is easy to find, up on the mountain road.

Romantic apartments in a Recidence beachfront sites in the historic center of Cefalu, in Vicolo mycelia at about 300 meters from the sandy beach of " lungomare ". located on the sea side are very comfortable. Finely furnished, with balconies on both sides, measuring about 40 square meters and is composed of a double bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, a kitchen that opens onto the living room and bathroom with shower. From the living room and from the balcony you can enjoy a lovely sea view. A charming Terrazina where you will enjoy a sunset as if it was on the sea

Easy going and amazing view
Reviewed By anaisamelinaPerfect for a short visit in cefalú. Me and my friend had a simple room with an amzing view on the sea and a balcony, which deserve the price of the room(50 euros). In a main street, 1 minute away from the beach. The owner welcomed us very kindly and made it really easy for us to be independant during our stay. The shower is cute but the wifi didn't work well, which dont matter when you around such beautiful landscape. Enjoy!

Reviewed By baconandbeerWith the sea view in the distance and fantastic hosts, this is a gem of a spot. The rooms are spotless, with a well appointed small kitchen. The bonus for us was the outdoor kitchen with bbq and pizza oven. The pool was warm and clean and being able to stream your own music was fun. We will be back!
