Reviewed By GlobeTrotting756798We stayed at this hotel with 11 women. The maintenance man Omar, was extremely rude and made our stay unpleasant. He was consistently harassing us and made us feel unwelcome. This unfortunately clouded any good things the hotel offered and overshadowed the rest of the staff. He also entered our room without knocking. This made us feel unsafe.

The sea-view suites and the deluxe queen rooms feature air conditioning in the bedrooms. The one-bedroom bungalows have several fans and a fridge; but they do not have air conditioning, televisions or kitchens. All guests will enjoy the use of complementary bicycles, kayaks and snorkel gear during their stay.
Rustic charm
Reviewed By 144katrinahColinda is full of rustic charm. The cabanas are far from Luxurious but have everything that you need. The owners have tried hard to make the rooms as homely as possible. The area on which they are located isn’t really a beach as such, more a man made patch of sand and gravel next to the sea but the whole of caye caulker looks like this. The cabanas are located at the far end of town, some distance from the split, down a dead end road.Bikes are provided bur we preferred to walk. It takes about 15 mins to reach the split and main bars. We had a nice stay but unfortunately didn’t get any sleep at all on one of the nights as their was a wedding in the hotel next door which went on until 5am and we had to be up at 5.30 to ho on a trip. I do feel we should of been warned that this was going to take place. We would probably of chosen to stay else where. If you are planning to stay here I’d advise to bring a mosquito net as we gotten eaten alive and the room is also full of red ants which bite! Not the owners fault! There are plenty of supermarkets near by where you can buy essential supplies at a much cheaper price than the hosts offer so get your own!

Weezie's Ocean Front Hotel and Garden Cottages is a boutique hotel with 18 units. There are 13 rooms on the oceanfront property and 5 garden cottages 2 blocks inland. All the units except the standard room have full kitchens. The hotel features 3 pools and long 250 ft pier which is a great spot to enjoy the sun and sea. There are kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing poles and a canoe to use free of charge. The facilities are first rate but what sets Weezie's apart is the full time staff of 12 who are there to make your vacation memorable.

Reviewed By ethanzI could stay in the rooms for a month -- good amount of space, full kitchen, tv with netflix, and STRONG AC made it extremely comfortable. We also took the private snorkel tour with John, which is a MUST DO. John was able to point out so many cool wildlife and facts, and was great company for the full-day trip. Just remember to reapply your (reef safe) sunscreen between every dive or you backs and legs are going to regret it :')

Reviewed By 106katherinejStayed at the Island Magic Beach Resort for Memorial Day Weekend. The staff was all extremely friendly. We had a few issues with our room (the power went out in the hallway, our AC stopped working at one point, and our outlets stopped working), but the staff was pretty quick to fix and accommodate us by offering another room. Room was OK. Nice views of Caye Caulker and great location with a cute setup across the road with swings and tables we were able to hang out on.

The location is perfect as it's right next to the Split and Sip N' Dip, walking distance to all the best restaurants and vendors on the island. The area is lively during the day but gets nice and quiet at night. The room was extremely clean and well-kept, and true to picture. The pool and free bike rentals were perfect amenities that we took advantage of during our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We would highly recommend Caye Caulker Condos if you are looking for a quality stay in a great location!

Good location... but...

(Nice staff except for one young girl who needs some training!!) On-site restaurant and bar has such great staff! (Mama and Jewel went all-out to take care of every guest!) Do have some negatives tho. Construction noise while they are building a pool is very loud all day... even down by the dock. Also, I paid almost $100 for a snorkel trip but got sick the night before and let them know. The staff knew this... but next morning they still refused to give me even a partial refund. It's things like that that people remember!

Reviewed By LindaM826The hotel is newly renovated and nicely done. I had the ocean front room with a wrap around veranda. It was a great room with two sliding doors. When closed it was very quiet. The housekeeping staff was great and so were the groundskeepers. Heidy was the gal at the front desk who picked me up at the airport and can manage to lift a 50 pound suitcase!!!! The entire hotel was beautifully maintained. Ken, the manager, was a sheer delight. The restaurant is on the fourth floor and no elevator. Being a senior partially disabled lady, he brought the dinner to me. They have a nice picnic area on the grounds. The food was great with some unusual for Belize items, like chicken parmesan and pasta alfredo. Both delicious. Ken gave me bandaides and ointment for a small injury. He offered to work out a way for some of my local friends to stay there in the future. He and his staff were always available with any help or information you needed. I go to Belize every year. This was my second time on caulker and first time at this hotel. I am older and partially disabled and I felt very safe and welcomed at La Isla. The staff was fun, helpful and hard working. Ken is one of a kind...an animated and passionate man who loves what he does and will do anythng to make your stay the best. Ken, you are adorable and I can't wait to come back next year. So thank you La Isla for a wonderful vacation!!!!!

We'Yu Boutique Hotel is located on the North Side of Caye Caulker on the popular and lively Northside Beach. The views are breathtaking and the accommodations are comfortable and stylish! Rooms vary from standard (without kitchen facilities) and to luxury with both single and double rooms available. Access to the property is via free water taxi from the Central Caye Caulker Village to the location. Taxi's run every 20 minutes and the boat ride takes 2 minutes. The Northside Beach Restaurant and Bar is located on the beachfront which is the source of our complimentary breakfasts and indeed many of our customers enjoy their excellent food and drinks during their stay and on their doorstep.

Eden, the receptionist, always answered all our concerns and even booked us a taxi from the airport to the pier in Belice City back and forth. Highly recommend.
