Every room has it's own WC, so that's really nice. The house is amazing, very large and the service is at the best level. Moreover, the location is perfect for Catania. This place is highly recommended.

Reviewed By Arnout GThis was a very nice b&b on a good location near the Duomo. The owner Luca is very friendly and helpful. The beds are good, nice hard matrasses which I like. Breakfast is basic but good to start the day with. 20 min drive to the airport. Catania is a beautiful city with lots of good bars and restaurants. In just a few days our clothes do not fit anymore :)

Perfect when you are coming or going from Catania Airport
Reviewed By SarotchkaOur family of 11 stayed here before our flight out of Catania. It is extremely close to the airport and directly across from a gas station for filling up before dropping a rental car. We wanted something that felt rural without the hassle of a long trip to the airport. Tenuta del Gelso perfectly fit that bill. We were welcomed by Carla, who is both kind and helpful. She settled us all in and the invited us to try their local wine (delicious!). The main building and surrounding buildings are beautiful and set among citrus orchards. It is also a quick drive into Catania proper to sample the delicious seafood offered at the port. (Do that--it's fresh off the boat. There are many restaurants that allow you to choose what you want and then cook it in front of you--festive, fun and delicious!) Thank you, Carla and all the staff at Tenuta Del Gelso. Heartily recommend!

Reviewed By arnos544Very nice spacious rooms with balcony against competitive prices. Extremely friendly staff. Ornella is very helpful and gives some great advice what to do and where to eat and drink in Catania. Can certainly recommend to stay in Suite 35 when visiting Catania.

Simply lovely place to stay
Reviewed By Murray_and_SerenaIn the heart of Catania's ahopping district, this was the perfect place to stay. Extremely quiet and secure, with lovely hosts, we couldn't have asked for better. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station, or a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal. There are restaurants on every street, 30+ within 5 minutes walk, with prices around 10 to 13 euro per plate.

Reviewed By Alfredo CAccoglienza cortese anche se un po' improvvisata, il palazzo e l'appartamento sono bellissimi ed in una posizione straordinaria per visitare la parte più bella di Catania. Non è semplicissimo arrivarci in automobile ma poi si parcheggia all'interno.

Cucina funzionale e adatta a tutte le esigenze . Il personale cordiale, disponibile e molto accogliente . Consigliato il bar CHIOSCO ITALIA ( la frutta al centro ) proprio appena sotto, ottima la granita e ottima disponibilità ad accogliere i clienti .

Wonderful place to stay, great location, clean room
Reviewed By Gurns1015The location and room was great for walking and exploring the city. The room is in a beautiful historic building and was very clean and spacious. Our host was there to greet us and show us around, very communicative and welcoming. Sadly, we were only able to stay one night there, but would highly recommend Teatro Suites.
