Attended this restaurant at a private birthday function for about 30 people and its was an amazing experience with great food. Had the Eggs with Garlic and Truffle which was good, the calamari and squid ink pasta was excellent and for mains the Monkfish was also very good. A selection of desserts out of which the panna cotta was the highlight. The restaurant is tucked away in a very small village but there is plenty of parking and its well worth the visit.Thanks Shan, for his recession.I am happy that he enjoyed my dishes, in this regard , the next time he returns to Tuscany, we can organize a cooking Class , for her and her friend. This lovely restaurant in Peccioli could not be more charming, hospitable and delicious. The owner, Francesco, and the staff are very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the food they serve, the olive oil that is sold there, the cheese, the salami, and of course, the wine. Thy also sell a nice variety of Tuscan spreads, oil, cheeses and salamis. You will definitely feel like a local, and may not want to leave. My personal favorite is the Truffle spread, but there are many more to try. Don't miss it.Thanks Pam, it was really nice for us too.as I told you...THIS IS OUR WAY ;)

This is a large bustling local restaurant with outdoor as well as indoor seating. There is a wide-ranging menu but come here for the pizza, it is delicious, crispy and chewy. Wine list is just ok, I would bring my own bottle. Loved the local flavor.

The venue itself was lovely, and we had a beautiful view of the ascending moon in idyllic surroundings. However, the problems were apparent very early on. We were totally ignored upon arrival; we waited at the reception for a significant amount of time before we were acknowledged. After sending back the first bottle of wine, we could not drink at least 20% of the second bottle (even after being decanted) due to the amount of (really quite distressing) sediment.The steak arrived raw, and was not of a good enough quality to warrant being returned for further cooking. The two fish dishes were overcooked and tasteless. The salad was fresh, but the chips were certainly cooked from frozen. The service was disappointing: our waiter was the only member of staff on duty, despite there being a large pre-booked party. This meant that he was stretched beyond capacity, and we were kept waiting for far too long. The management should take note of this, and provide adequate cover in future. Overall then, incredibly disappointing, all the more so for a great deal of potential.

We visited Il Rosso Della Paola as a big party to celebrate my grandparentsâ diamond wedding. Even with a table of twelve of us, the service was very quick, super friendly, and the food was wonderful; real Tuscan cuisine with an emphasis on truffles in a lot of the dishes, which was lovely. I was especially a fan of the rabbit cooked on a low heat which was the most tender meat Iâve ever tasted!Dear Chris, thank you for your review, we are pleased to know your opinion about our cuisine and our staff. While staying in very beautiful Chianni, we had dinner here. For all four adults, it was one of our best meals ever. The dining room is a lovely setting, and the food makes it perfect. We cannot wait to return.

We had a very nice dinner in Lari. I Burattinai served very good food by kind English speaking personnel. The card was in three languages. Pasta came from next door, Martinelli. The steak with gorgonzola was tasty. The location on top of the wall was top!I recommend this place to all families visiting this awesome area!

A very nice restaurant with excellent food and service. Price level is good and so is the quality of the food. We had dinner for 19 persons. Everybody very pleased. The local wine included in the menu was good!A place I would like to visit also in the future.

Great menu, good service and lovely setting. Shame not more choice of food and shame they weren't busier.Seafood pasta was heaving with seafood, steak cooked to perfection and cheesecake to die for.
