Reviewed By loredanac604L'idea di dormire in uno chalet immerso nella natura è molto carina ma in concreto è stato deludente perché non ho trovato lo chalet accogliente e curato come mi sarei aspettata. Ciò che avrebbe dovuto essere romantico si è rivelato piuttosto spartano e triste. L'acqua calda non è stata neppure sufficiente per due docce,col risultato che mi sono dovuta sciacquare con acqua fredda.

A 600 farmhouse surrounded by a wonderful place in the Tuscia countryside , among the oak and hazel in schabby - chic style. We are in the upper Valley Vicomatrino in the province of Capranica , which is 45 minutes from Rome and 15 minutes from Viterbo , near the end of SP Braccianese Claudia - 493 Kilometer at about 1 Km from Cassia in the high hills . We are 3 km from Lake Vico , 16 km from the Terme dei Papi , 10 km from Caprarola with its wonderful Palazzo Farnese , 30 km from the sea of Tarquinia Lido and 30 km from Bomarzo with its Monsters Park .

Reviewed By liviusWe know Italy quite well, we have experienced so many bed and breakfast´s and agriturismi which are often polished accommodations. Not that Il Profeta is a run down place, definitive not, but this tiny bed and breakfast is situated on a caotic farm yard with no slack Tuscan Disney Style (but here we´re in Lazio). The B and B has one apartment (we´ve had) and - we think- three rooms in another place. The owner -a very dedicated and hospitable woman- lives there too. Our accommodation in cottage style was good and fairly new, and quite large. We ate there too. Many tourists are wanting and searching for ´eating with the Italian ´mama´ ´, here finally you will find that experience (but without the mama being present at the table - better so). We know the Spaghetti Amatriciana - which restaurant does not have that plate on his menu? - but this Amatriciana was of a rare tast. One of the best we ate before in our lives. We slept wonderful fresh in an-almost-40 degrees (Celcius)-night of July. Then the price. We paid (2 persons) 45 euros in July. Try to find that. With pleasure we think away the small defects like the shower with almost no hot water and the wine at the table (a warm Maschio prosecco). PS. We actually rented a bike at the Rome railwaystation San Pietro (at Bike Away in Via Monte del Gallo), took the bike on the train in direction Viterbo, ´drove´ to the small railway station of Cura (1,15 hour) and unloaded the bike. Il Profeta is 3 to 4 kilometers from there. Lake Vico is nearby (4 km) too, but the street to the lake is quite hilly, almost an Alpes etappe in the Tour de France.

Vacanza eccezionale!!!
Reviewed By 941paolobAbbiano affittato l'intera villa inseme ad altre famiglie di amici per tutto il mese di agosto. La zona offre veramente molto da visitare e la villa è stupenda. Immersa nella natura, nel silenzio e nel fresco dei noccioleti. La casa ha un ottimo giardino e piscina dove i bambini potevano divertirsi tutto il giorno. La signora Rosanna è eccezionale: molto discreta, ma presente in tutti i momenti di necessità e soprattutto non ci ha fatto mancare nulla. Addirittura avevamo i prodotti fesci dell'orto, le uova delle sue galline e tanto altro (ottime le crostate e la pasta fatta in casa ?). Beh che dire una vacanza eccezionale e il ringraziamento maggiore va alla signora Rosanna che ha saputo renderla indimenticabile. Grazie e a presto!!!

Reviewed By meletta56Non abbiamo dormito all'Agriturismo il Cornolio, solo una cena tra amici ma Rossana, che lo gestisce, è veramente una bravissima e ottima cuoca che ha dato, a parere di tutti i presenti ieri sera a cena nell'agriturismo, ottima prova di sé. Con Lei mangi eslusivamente piatti con prodotti naturali e a km zero... Tutto buonissimo. Il posto vale la pena anche solo per la Natura. Grazie e arrivederci presto
