Beautiful small hotel in lovely neighbourhood
Reviewed By Wsb01We stayed a total of 5 nights at the Hub Porteno between arriving in BA and returning after travel. It is located in the lovely affluent neighbourhood of Recoleta where many other large hotels (Hyatt, Four Seasons, Sofitel etc.) are located. But this is a small boutique hotel on a side street which is quiet with large beautifully furnished rooms and particularly large modern bathrooms. You walk out the door and can be at many sites in a short walk. Nearby are many restaurants and cafes. The neighbourhood is bustling. I recommend you ask for a room facing the courtyard as the street can be a bit noisy. The staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was quite good as was the lovely young waitress who served us every morning with a lively smile. I do think that you get larger more lovely rooms in this boutique hotel than you would at one of the larger hotels with a lot more peace and quiet. We did spend some time on the terrace rooftop on the 4th floor and enjoyed that. I also used the equipment in the very small gym area (elliptical, treadmill, bike). Nearby, we went to the restaurant, Fervour. It is high end and has good food. But right beside it is a gem of a place that all the locals frequent called El Sanjuanino which has empanadas and a lot more for a very reasonable price. We went there twice and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and good food. I would also say walking around Recoleta is very safe, including at night so the location was a bonus from that perspective as well.

The breakfasts were delicious. And we loved having a glass of wine in the living room each night before heading out to dinner in Palermo, which is such a cool neighborhood with so many great bars and restaurants within seconds/minutes of BE Jardin. We would absolutely stay here again!!

Rooms are very comfortable with modern bathrooms and all usual amenities. Breakfast is standard Latin American fare. Noteworthy is the location of the hotel, in a residential area yet within a 15 minute walk of the main plaza. Numerous restaurants are a few blocks away. San Telmo is also an easy walk, with Boca being a bit further. The staff was superb, although not all spoke fluent English. Google translate turned out to be a great way to communicate in some cases. Without a doubt we will return here again if we are in Buenos Aires.

It is a welcoming oasis of calm in an otherwise busy and vibrant city and is proof that brass, glass and marble are not what makes any hotel great. What is more important is personal care and attention - and the wonderful people of Posada Gotan have this in abundance. Thibaut and Gabriella welcomed me as a guest, and farewelled me as a friend.

Nice location
Reviewed By PH-NevesThis hotel is nicely located. You have options of parrilada, kioskos and even a vegetarian place few steps away. Dozens of bookstores, cafés and theaters (including Colón) are at a walking distance. The breakfast included medialunas and lots of smile by a friendly waitress. The internet is very poor, though. We had problems to connect all the time (and that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars). I'd recommend it.

Reviewed By CC TThe staff was helpful. My room was clean and quiet. The housekeeper kept it clean and tidy every day. The shower and the air con were all good. It took a few minutes walk to the subway and supermarket. Just don't expect much for the breakfast included.

Reviewed By Matthew MBooked this hotel because, like all travelers, I wanted an inexpensive private room to enjoy Buenos Aires. THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL!!!!!!!!! I had first booked this hotel for 2 nights unsure of what it would be like. The room they gave me was huge. 15 foot ceilings and there was a set of bunk beds and another full size bed in my room. 4 people could have easily slept there with plenty of space to move around. It even had a small balcony overlooking the street. The building was a little old, but so are most of the buildings in the surrounding area so nothing wrong with that. I kinda felt like I was in a Jason Bourne movie :) Breakfast was pretty standard from what I've experienced in hostels in Argentina. Bread, coffee, water and jams. Wish there was real milk to go with that coffee. My only complaint is not the hotel's fault. The bathroom had a small design flaw. It was small, which is ok, but the door to the bathroom opened inwards so it made it a little difficult to use and made it feel even smaller. If they redo the door so it opens outwards or had a sliding door, that would be a simple fix that would greatly improve that small space. Here's where it gets interesting... I was satisfied with the room so I booked 3 more nights. When I woke for breakfast and finished eating, they very politely suggested that I should leave the hotel and go to Downtown Mate Hostel where the exact same type of accommodation would be provided. I was hesitant; however, once the staff assured me that both hotels had the same owner, I decided to take the leap of faith. I immediately packed my bags and walked 2 miles to the other location. GREATEST SUGGESTION EVER! Not only did I get to explore the area around Mitre Suites, but I also got to stay at their other location. It was like getting 2 hotels for the price of one. The ability to see and experience different neighborhoods was well worth the effort and the walk gave me a better understanding of my surroundings. Furthermore, the staff is extremely intelligent and were very attuned to an individual's needs. Even though I was already having a pleasant stay, they knew I would probably like the other location more. They were right! The location around Mitre Suites was still great. Lots of shops and restaurants. Coming from Los Angeles, I love to watch films and one of the best things about Mitre Suites is that it is walking distance from a Cinemark theatre so I was able to see Tomorrowland and observe and enjoy how another culture experiences a film from America. This hotel seems to be more for locals, but they understood my needs without me even telling them and put me in the right place. I do not get that kind of customer service and foresight from expensive hotels back in America. Bravo Mitre Suites! Bravo!

An excellent Local Hotel for you Stay in Buenos Aires
Reviewed By Fernando BI had the chance to stay (again) in Ker Belgrano in December 2020. The service was amazing. All the staff played a crucial role to make my stay enjoyable. They are constantly refreshing the rooms so you will find a modern and clean environment with all you need. The breakfast is super good given and provide a wide variety of options. Finally the Location!!! Placed in Belgrano just 2 blocks from the Subway to visit historic/touristic Buenos Aires in just 20 minutes. I will come back!
