Perfect little gem
Reviewed By SuzanneFzHotel looks renovated as the room and dinning area looked very new and it give you the feeling of freshness. Recommend having a room with a view as it has an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding area. The hotel is also pet friendly and we had no problem taking our dog with us. We would definitely come back!

Reviewed By Tom MCannero is a lovely quiet spot. We both stayed at and ate at Il Cortile, both were superb, on top of that it has the most delightful management of anywhere I have ever stayed. Make sure you book a table in the restaurant.

Reviewed By ElaineM179This hotel is located in Cannero Riviera and faces the lake. Common areas of the hotel are lovely. Arrival was a bit awkward.We were told where to park (behind the hotel) and not offered any help with our bags, which had to be dropped off one floor above the lobby. The rooms are functional but small. Our room was a front lake room, but on the first floor such that the views of the lake were partially screened by trees. I would say that the bathroom in our room needed a bit of love … corners of the shower tiles a bit off-color.. Bed linens felt worn. The restaurant was very nice, and staff were courteous. Breakfast was buffet-style (surprising in a COVID world) with rules to observe distancing, but unfortunately no one to handle guests who chose not to observe distancing. Were I to return to the hotel, I would request a front lake room on an upper floor to truly benefit from front lake views. I should note for future guests that are highly allergic to cats that Tigri was roaming in the hotel’s lobby floor and also « greeted » us on the first floor when we unloaded our luggage. My husband is allergic to cats and was underwhelmed by this welcome.

The hotel is located on a narrow could de sac with public parking 2min walk away (free of charge) From room 204 we enjoyed a fabulous view onto the lake. The room is of ample size with a very comfortable king size bed, a walk-in shower and a great balcony with chairs and table. It is extremely quiet here which we loved. There is a lift in the hotel so no cumbersome climbing of stairs. A delicious breakfast is included in the rate. The food in the Restaurant is great, but the choice unfortunately a little small. There are a few Restaurants within walking distance as alternatives. Staff is friendly and helpful

I really had time to talk with Claudia, who is a very gracious, knowledgeable and warm host. Because it was the beginning of December, there were only a few businesses open, but Claudia provided me ample places and activities to do, including a Farmers Market open in the town square not far from Helianthus. Our B&B is located in the village of Cassino, a 10-minute walk from Cannero Riviera, one of the most fascinating holiday resorts on Lake Maggiore. The splendid Casale was originally a 19th century mansion and is ideal for guests who want to discover the taste of tradition and the warmth of Italian hospitality. It was totally renovated in 2010, preserving its original style. Casale is the ideal starting point for guests who love and enjoy hiking in the mountains overlooking the deep blue waters of the lake. The sunny position and the mild climate make the B&B suitable also for a winter-break. In the private garden, you will find a whirlpool and solarium where you can relax while sailing boats go by. And then, why not sip a good glass of wine at sunset? The hosts are at your complete disposal to suggest the most panoramic walks in the mountains, good restaurants, quiet beaches and busy village markets or to provide you with any information needed to assure you a wonderful stay.
Great view of the lake
Reviewed By billinzugWe stayed here for 3 nights in late October. This small property (with only 3-4 rooms in total) is located on the hills overlooking Lake Maggiore (maybe 800m up from the lake). It offers a beautiful view of the lake and each of the rooms has a large (long & narrow) balcony in which to sit and drink wine. It is approximately 5 minutes to town (Cannero) by car and a car is definitely needed if you are staying here (as the hill is somewhat steep and windy). The rooms are really clean, and are quite spacious as they include not only a separate bedroom & bath, but also a living room with a small kitchen table and refrigerator. This extra room opens up to the balcony and this b&b really feels more like home than just a regular hotel room. The owner Luisia speaks 3 languages (Italian, German, and French). She doesn't speak much English but did call her secretary several times on the phone to answer any questions we had (which was really helpful). Luisia really went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of. Breakfast in the morning was set in a beautiful room and offerred a selection of juices, breads, meats, cheeses, fruits. There was only 1 other couple staying at the time, so you pretty much had breakfast to yourself (which made it seems all the more impressive that all this had been laid out for you). I would definitely come back to this b&b again, and may even try during the summer months (when the town of Cannero is really alive).

Reviewed By Brigitte Dals wir dort angekommen sind, wurden wir ganz freundlich von dem Besitzer empfangen, das Zimmer mit Balkon und herrlichem Blick auf den See, war sehr sauber, das sehr grosse Badezimmer lag ausserhalb vom Zimmer, aber man konnte es mit nur wenigen Schritten erreichen. Das leckere Frühstück bekamen wir auf der Terrasse serviert mit Blick auf dem See. Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung, gerne kommen wir wieder.

Reviewed By pita765Die kleinen Apartments aus dem Jahr 2018 sind individuell eingerichtet und haben unterschiedliche Außenbereiche. Unser Apartment hatte z.B. zwei Terrassen. Für alle Gäste gemeinsam gibt es rundherum kleine gepflegte und mediterran gestaltete Gärten mit Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten auf verschiedenen Ebenen. Durch die nahe Lage zur Hauptstraße wird es zu Stoßzeiten etwas lauter. Nettes und hilfsbereites Besitzerpaar. Ca 5 Fußminuten bis zun See.

L'appartamento è situata sul lago, e mentre fai colazione non hai bisogno della TV perché dalla finestra dell'appartamento hai una vista ?. Gli appartamenti sono molto luminoso, puliti e ben tenuti. Il proprietario è molto gentile e premuroso. Sa coccolare il cliente. All'arrivo fa trovare sul tavolo dell'appartamento un cestino con sale, zucchero, aceto, olio ecc. Ne vale davvero la pena. Ci tornerò sicuramente!!!

Super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit - und genialer Blick auf den Lago
Reviewed By Marc EWir sind begeistert: der etwas angestaubte Charme des Gebäudes wird sofort wettgemacht, wenn "Franziska" - die Chefin des Hauses - sich liebevoll um das Wohl ihrer Gäste kümmert: wer fragt bekommt umgehend Hilfe und das mit einem freundlichen und selbstverständlichen Lächeln. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das für italienische Verhältnis üppige Frühstück mit Blick in den Sonnenaufgang über dem Lago - herrlich!
