The farmhouse dates back to the end of 1600, has been restored preserving the original architectural elements of beauty, a symbol of elegance and simplicity that still characterise the area of Langhe and Roero. The original ceiling beams of 1600, the terracotta floors and wood furnishings l oak recreate a simple yet elegant environment. The farm has 15 rooms, all personalised paintings and furnishings simple yet original, making you feel instantly at home. The breakfast buffet includes sweet and savoury products, including cheeses, cold cuts and homemade cakes. The 'agriturismo is immersed in a large park thirty acres, connected with the main footpaths which cross the Roero, ideal for those who love to explore nature on foot or by bike. ll garden and swimming pool offer a pleasant space, collected and calm, ideal for moments of relaxation accompanied by pleasant readings or a dip in the pool. In the splendid setting of the farmstead our chef offers the best of traditional Italian cuisine, finely revisited in a modern key. The cellar, entirely dug in Tuff, l ' ideal environment for the preservation of many wine labels, including Nebbiolo and the Favoured products from grapes of our vineyards. The farm maintains its traditional role of azienda agraria: the Orchard offers the scent of flowers and the goodness of the fruit in the summer. L garden provides vegetables that will then be expertly cooked by our chef. The Park is the home of our animals: poultry, ostriches, goats and horses, always l ' main attraction for children and adults. The hotel is 3 miles from the channel, 15 km from Alba and 50 minutes ' drive ' d dall Torino Caselle Airport.
Quiet place in a natural environment
Reviewed By Petrus61We spent 4 nights in this hotel located on a hill in a quiet setting about 10 minutes away from the village of Canale. We enjoyed the calm of this place and the nice surroundings. However service did not quite meet our expectations. While making up our room, our towels that we had put in the bathtub, were not changed and we were not provided with enough shower gel . The extra pillows in our room had no covers. The dinner that we took at the hotel was rather average in our opinion. The breakfast was OK.

After a small detour we found this place
Reviewed By hans rAfter we had to conclude that our original reservation did not match our expectations, we had to find another place. Luckily we found the Spa Roero Relax Resort. The hotel has very nice rooms. The place is really spacious and quiet. Housekeeping does great work as the rooms were alway impeccable ! The Relax part is very well kept and really good to visit after your day's out. Breakfast was very generous, especially for Italy. Hospitality was great. Thanks very much for your great efforts !

Reviewed By Marjaberry81We have visited this agriturismo twice this year for meals, whilst visiting the area. Both times, the food has been absolutely delicious and service very nice and friendly. Definitely worth a visit for a good quality Piemontese meal with great atmosphere as well.

Villa Cornarea, surrounded by its vineyards, is located on the summit of the Cornarea hill, overlooking the town of Canale d’Alba.Recently restructured by Ilaria and Pier Bovone, Villa Cornarea has maintained its strong, elegant personality, evident in each of its nine bedrooms, all finely decorated with period furniture, although each one differs from the other. Villa Cornarea has 9 rooms: 2 suites and 4 rooms with panoramic terraces.

We corresponded with the Villa and the guest services team were extremely helpful in selecting our room and confirming our stay dates,etc... Upon arrival we immediately felt "local", this beautiful Villa on a hill overlooking vineyards and neighboring towns was exactly what we had hoped for. We felt as though we lived there, rather than visitors staying at a hotel. Concierge services provided by Chiara and Loredona we absolutely excellent. With their knowledge and suggestions, based on our request, we visited a variety of towns, sites & local festivities that we would have never selected without their knowledge. Every restaurant selection was perfect, very local spots with delicious food at local prices. Reservations made by the Villa enabled us to access small popular local spots with short notice. Waking up each morning to a beautiful breakfast table with a wide variety of selections and a breakfast team that prepared & served my Double Espresso Macchiato in a stunning glass enclosed solarium overlooking the countryside was a delicious bonus too! Not to forget that Villa Cornarea produces excellent wines!! I'm wondering if Villa Cornarea would give me a discount if I went next year for a month?? Now I'm wondering if they would allow me to!! LOL!!

The Hotel, lying admist the Roero hills and vineyards, has 22 rooms elegantly furnished. All rooms have en suite facilities, safe, mini bar and LCD TV as wel as wifi internet connection.Private parking.
Cozy and friendly place
Reviewed By tinaq_reviewsWine Hotel Munin is a bit in the middle of nowhere, nearby Aperol/Campari storehouse, away from centre of Canale, but a good place to spend the night if you wish to visit Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, etc. and own a car. Staff is very friendly, there's gorgeous wine to be bought at the reception and breakfast is tasty. No problems with parking, price is fair, rooms clean and alright. I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to check if hotel restaurant is open on the dates of your stay and if not, book a table at one of the nearby restaurants in advance, or you will be left hungry.

Reviewed By Stefano PConsiglio vivamente ai viaggiatori intenzionati a visitare le Langhe o il vicino Monferrato di fare base in uno dei piccoli ma ospitali appartamentini che Pinuccia e Giovannino hanno ricavato dalla cascina padronale e che affittano a prezzi modici agli enoturisti . Bagno , stanza da letto e cucina , balcone con stupendo panorama sulle colline del Roero , tutto pulito ed efficiente . La brezza serotina rinfresca il clima e consente il riposo , favorito invero da cibo e vinello, al viaggiatore magari preoccupato dall'assenza dell'aria condizionata. Doverosa la visita e la degustazione in cantina dove Giovannino vi spiega con dedizione e competenza la produzione della cantina e soprattutto ve la fa assaggiare . Vini di grande qualità a ottimo prezzo . L'ospitalità e la simpatia dei gestori vi faranno a sentire a vostro agio e non mancheranno le occasioni conviviali nell'aia e negli spazi comuni della casina. Inserite il navigatore e veleggiate fin qui tra le vigne senza frapporre indugio.

Soggiorno sfortunato
Reviewed By flyingcustomerBella cascina circondata da vigneti, la soluzione che cercavamo per un pò di relax nelle Langhe. abbiamo scelto questa struttura per la possibilità di rilassarci qualche ora in piscina ma il proprietario inizia a parlarci di una “invasione di vespe”…è pieno sia in acqua che a bordo vasca, impossibile restare. Un po' abbattuti torniamo in stanza, anche in balcone ci sono nidi e molte vespe…meglio chiudere la finestra. Non ho paura degli insetti ma la situazione era eccessiva, il proprietario ha provveduto a spruzzare disinfestante ovunque...buon per i clienti dei giorni successivi. Rientrati dal tour pomeridiano è l’ora di una doccia: L’acqua calda è intermittente, bisogna attendere 3/4 minuti prima che arrivi per poi tornare fredda nel giro di pochi secondi. Shampoo e Bagnoschiuma sono nella confezione classica che si compra al supermercato, già aperta e usata dagli ospiti precedenti….a livello igienico è più adatta la monodose. In camera niente aria condizionata ne ventilatore, ipotizziamo sia perché la zona rimane fresca la sera….Invece abbiamo passato la notte a sudare. Infine in struttura ci sono due Golden molto simpatici, purtroppo di notte hanno abbaiato parecchio rendendo impossibile il sonno. Soggiorno sfortunato!
