Parkland Apartment is one of the oldest family-owned establishments in Cameron Highlands, so when it comes to welcoming tourists to the hills, we know best.Parkland Apartment consists of 20 units of fully-furnished apartments complete with all the luxuries for the modern day traveller. This includes free WiFi connection and satellite TV channels in all our apartments amongst many other value-added services. Our apartments are located by the Golf Course just a short walk away from Brinchang town and is a favorite resting point for tourists and golfers.

Reviewed By 69TedWe stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments here and were fairly satisfied with it, given the reasonable price paid. Basically, we felt it gave us exactly what it said on the label. The staff checking us in were fine - we were shown to our apartment and had the water heaters explained to us. You need to let them know if you want your apartment cleaned each day. We didn't, so had no more dealings with staff until check out but no complaints. The apartment was spacious with a balcony giving nice views. There was a good sized fridge, which, unlike many holiday accommodation fridges, had a temperature control with a proper cold setting available and a separate freezer compartment so that you could properly freeze cool box ice packs. We knew there were no cooking utensils provided so we came prepared and found the kitchen perfectly adequate for our breakfast needs. It's not ultra-modern or luxurious accommodation but we found it acceptably clean. None of the unpleasant surprises that accommodation at this price sometimes brings you. Location was pretty good too. Only a short walk into Brinchang and being on the main road meant easy car access to anywhere further away. The apartments are up a slope and set slightly back from the main road, so traffic noise wasn't really an issue. The apartment has neither air con nor heating and, temperature-wise at least, I don't honestly think either are needed. This does however mean that they are a little bit damp inside. I think the bathrooms would benefit from having extractor fans to help clear some of the dampness. Not a huge issue for a short stay though, and this wouldn't stop us booking here again.

Reviewed By carl jOverpriced for rm400++. Sure location was strategic near pasar malam 7eleven and all but poorly maintained. Water heater not functioning very well. Only hot for one shower. Got to wait for like an hour before the water hot again. Cigarette smoke from outside can be smelled in the living room. Breakfast was urghh.

Reviewed By KamWengWGood location on a hill and at Tanah Rata with food & shops within walking distance (1.5km) The GreenHill Resort has many apartments managed by different parties. SO it's wise to check properly which is the managing party operating the units that you are staying at. It's better to stay here than at Brinchang which is crowded and roads quite jammed at the weekend

Reviewed By KhidirAhmadThis hotel has a beautiful views of Golf course, also near to Smoke House which has a beautiful garden landscape. But the room is quite old and dusty. Old furniture. Toilets with issues and several other problems related to maintainance. Really hope the management can look into this downside and rectify the issues because the scenery and location of the place is very good.

Reviewed By AdrianO1839A 3D2N short trip with total of 4 family members. Easy to check in. The staff there are friendly too. After checking into the apartment, surprisingly is clean. Is like our own house. The floor is well mop and is not sticky or dusty at all.The living room come with 3 seter sofa set, a Tv and Astro while the kitchen is decent spacious equip with basic pots and pans and rice cooker. Room is clean but the 2nd room is abit small for 2 twin bed to fit in.Location wise, is strategic enough for me to move around the within 15mins drive. Pasar malam is just right below the apartment .

The check in was super convenient and the customer service by the staff was very friendly, we kept in touch by phone calls & sms. The apartments were clean. The location is 1.5km from Tanah Rata Town and 1.3km from Brinchang Town. It is actually in the middle. I won't hesitate to book here again for future group trips.

Reviewed By Lee YThe lady at the reception is helpful, price reasonably cheap. Room not clean, floor is oily (!!), not sure if the bed sheet is properly wash/change. Located at the center of the very popular veggies & fruits selling market/ stalls. Won't go back.

Reviewed By KAi SWe had about 60 people stay in for 4 days 3 nights. The outlook appearance I must admit that it is not new. The building is rather aging and needs some repainting. However, the rooms that we were given (2 units of 2 bedrooms apartment, 6 units of 3 bedrooms apartment, 2 units of 4 bedroom apartment) are really spacious. There is no pungent smell like others reviews, all toilets are working fine, most importantly, the staffs are very friendly. They are always ready to assist shall we have any issue. Also, the manager on duty even goes extra miles by preparing pasta as lunch for my team which is not part of the deal we agreed upon. Also, the hotel staffs have been providing us good hall space for usage. Overall, the apartment is not the newest 5 stars hotel experience, but rather, with the cost we pay, I think the deal is worthy to invest. I will recommend for group stay for future trips.

My mum ended up sleeping in the living room instead due to unbearable smell in the room. - The pillows are so smelly that even with pillow cover, you can still smell the stench. The smell of the pillow is like the sweaty shirt of which you kept for weeks before washing it. - The mold starts to grow on the pillow. - We ended up buying a new pillow outside from nearby grocery store. - Futon beds provided are full of spider web and smelly. - Bed sheets are full of yellowish stain and even blood spots. - The cleanliness is at worst that the bed stand even has mold! - My family got sick immediately the next day staying in this place. If you have allergy or low tolerance to weird smell, this is not the place for you. 2. Kitchen - Very dirty with cabinet door is broken. - There are mushroom growing inside the cabinet and the door is broken and unable to close it tight. - When I opened the cabinet door, unknown insects flied out with a very bad smell inside the cabinet. - The kitchenware is horrible, oven is rusty and they place the big black dustbin in the kitchen next to living room, so basically if you are sitting in the living room, the big black dustbin is next to you. - Electric kettle is rusty 3. Toilet - Cameron Highlands is a cold place but the centralized heater is not working well. If you have more than 2 people staying, the third people will have to bath with cold water. The hot water is very inconsistent and when the hot water in the tank runs out, you will have to bath with icy cold water in the middle of your shower. - The ceiling of the toilet is full of mold. - All the toilet covers are broken! 4. Surrounding - Right outside my room looks like a dumpsite. I cannot open the window, else, the whole house will smell like dumpsite. - Refuse room is a few feet away and once you open the door, the stench is like dead rats. - Refuse room door is left open wide and you need to hold your breath once you are out and walk to lift. - In front of the apartment looks nice but when you go to the back, rubbish is all over the road. 5. Management - Notice stated that the management closes at 8PM, I called them at 7:35PM to request to change a new pillow and they hanged up on me and SMS me "Can't talk now". I replied the SMS to request for new pillow but until I checked out, no one responded to me. - No housekeeping at all. I do not see them around. 6. Wi-Fi - Even the WiFi is bad, I was staying at Level 1 and the router is in Level 2. Two levels of houses share 1 router. There is no individual router in your house. - All the rooms has NO wifi coverage except living room.
