My wife and myself had a late lunch here my wife ordered the battered Cod it came with vegetables and chips, I ordered the Ribs bbq style and chips and veg. all well cooked and tasty. We had a carafe of wine and a bottle of water all very nice but for some strange reason a lot of flies knocking about,we saw a few people swatting them away,the restaurant was busy and it was a shame as food was good, maybe just one of those days. Seems to be run by a Chinese family. Food looked good.

Went in March last year for tapas which was first class. Revisited this May, nobody else there but don't let that put you off. Had a meat paella which was excellent. Friendly service and brilliant value. House wine fine. Deserves more attention!

Somewhat disinterested lady (owner ??) serving us and not much help describing the dishes that we enquired about. The ribs were enjoyed by 2 of our party but the small slices of overlooked duck in a raspberry sauce was most disappointing. Decided not to risk a dessert.

we visited in September and it was quiet, popped into this place and ordered Chateaubriand - wow it was fantastic! the staff were lovely and gave a good wine choice and it wasn't expensive which is always good (hate when places give you the most expensive!!)
Paco the chef was brilliant, so much so that we asked him to cook for us a day later, didn't matter what but anything he felt would be good. we returned on the Thursday and he cooked us a local fish (sorry the name escapes me) which was huge and delicious and perfectly cooked!
we even called on the way to the airport home to have a bite to eat, just had pasta which was fresh and tasty and just what we needed to set ourselves up for th trip home.
such a nice place with wonderful staff and would recommend to anyone as its just lovely.

I had the beef bourguignon. Nothing but brrf chunks, and mushrooms in a weak beef broth with a hint of wine. Potatoes were below average. The ambiance was ruined by the constant loud grinding noise from the kitchen. No salt pepper or butter on the table. No bread. The amuse bousche came to the table with no explanation. Service was average. Would not return.

Sunday lunch with cool live music - lovely! First lunch breezy but wind breaks worked. Second p...sing down but heaters and no leaks over us, thankfully! Booking over phone easy with good English speaker. Service attentive and professional. Interesting wine list with good selection. Chateaubriand properly served and delicious. Worth a visit.

We stayed in a villa in Callao Salvaje for a week in April. I had read about Gourmandises on trip advisor and went most mornings for bread and croissants. The croissants were always excellent. The baguettes were somewhat variable, ranging from excellent to a little overdone. Our last morning, I was in very early and the normal baguettes were still in the oven. Instead I took a seeded loaf. I was annoyed up until the point where we were on the plane and broke into the loaf ... it was divine and must have really annoyed everyone else on the flight.

We recently visited the area and stayed in a private villa, we were recommend the resteraunt by a local excursions office and we were not disappointed. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was fantastic, in our group we had people with learning difficulties and the owner payed us special attention because of this and really made them feel special. We made a second visit on our last night before home and was fantastic they made us special tapas plates and a couple of bottles of wine again superb treatment!! Massive thumbs up to the resteraunt we would definately recommend to people in the area and would definately visit again if we returned the the resort.

We recently visited this restaurant on our holidays in Tenerife. The service on the night was poor,there was a full house with just 2 people trying to serve up to 80 guests.I booked online but when we arrived the booking had not come through so we were offered a seat outside which was fine.The meal was ordinary delivered slowly due to lack of staff and forgettable.We paid after our main course and left.
I hate leaving a poor review as our experience is only a snap shot of any restaurant.
I hope you get your staffing corrected and I can return and check this restaurant out again.

My wife and I had their speciality mixed grill fish platter, including a bottle of wine.
The platter was a fair size and included mussels, prawns, hake, sardines, squid and dorado. Accompanied by Canadian potatoes and a side salad.
All told, it was 38 euros (before tax) and we thought it was an excellent meal for 2 and excellent value.
