In Buga it seems to me you can't get a better Sandwich, pizza or beer that here. True comfort food.
Note this is a total bar. The ambiance isn't the best and the music is loud, but the comforts or a good cold beer and homemade bread are worth it.

Besides the food taking well over an hour to arrive after ordering (I think it's more of a cultural thing here) the ambiance, service, and food were excellent. I would def come back here if I'm ever in the country again! A little pricey, but certainly not something a foreigner can't afford.

Wow- was this good. I am not even the biggest steak eater but it melted in my mouth and I know that it would be triple or quadruple the price in the U.S.- Monaco or Hyde Park level prices. This is located in a a multi restaurante plaza that looks like one big restaurant so make sure to step through to the wood plaque sign on the inside. What is also interesting is this tucked in the middle of nowhere. I honestly could not tell you how to get there but that is ok..ask the locals if they know where the El Trapiche centro de comercio is. Supposidly this building is a converted sugar cane drying barn. Not sure how true that is or if it was just named the same word for said drying facility. Anyway, asking locals where to go is the Colombian version of GPS. Basically you ask until you run into whatever you are looking for!
I would love to see if GPS even works in the convoluted streets of Colombia.
Anyway, it is worth the effort to find it!
There is an outdoor bar area but it is technically another establishment. I am not sure how they manage this in Buga but they have mastered the art of good ventilation. So the inside is usually more comfortable than the outside eating.

Found this amazing gem of a cafe whilst visiting Buga. Really nice ambiance with the best Coffee I taste for a long time. Carlos and Cristina are very knowledgable baristas and make great coffee I will definitely be back next time I come to Buga! check it out if your in town

Costiky's is known for its ribs and they do not disappoint. Here in Colombia the meat is usually of very low quality but at Costiky's the ribs are fantastic. The Seating are is clean and quaint but a little dark in some areas. The staff does not speak english so bring your translator!

I went there around 5 times in diferent times visiting Buga. Its important to understand that there you find the kind of place: "corrientazo", that is just one menu in the day, not many option, you wont have a menu. But its cheap, and for this price its good tasty and nice and quick service.
