We spent four days and nights in Gunehr and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Frank is an amazing host and guide and most importantly cook! We enjoyed wonderful meals and great conversation. The breakfasts were fantastic with delicious home baked bread. Pizza night was brilliant and the pastas and sauces were wonderful. Thank you Frank and team for making us so at home and so well fed!

Cute little cafe with lots of natural lighting, books to read, free wifi, and fresh food to order and eat. The crépes are OK. I personally liked their homemade Pasta and Salads. The Cappuccino was also OK. I loved the ambiance. It is so quiet and peaceful too. One could just sit all day long gazing at the Mountains, sip on coffee or eat something, read, a book or work on the laptop. One could also bump into other travelers and chat up. I was told by my friends who visited earlier that the breakfast is here good. My fiancé and I are vegetarians so we ended up eating eggless and vegetarian dishes. The only downfall in this place is the house flies. Do not be surprised if you find one or two in your food.

I had chicken tikka roll (KJ Special) and egg roll today. Chicken tikka roll was good, and egg roll was average. I love their bread of roll, very similar with Taiwan, I will keep trying other items.

Amazing restaurant that you will never forget . The spring roll was delicious but you need to be patient little while to taste the wonderful spring roll.
The Vegetarian Sandwich was fantastic .
The restaurants facade looks simple but when you enter you will be shock as it's so nicely decorated and the feel is like a home.
The lady boss is very friendly and courteous . She can arrange for paragliding with good pilot for their guest.
Don't missed this wonderful place for relaxation and the environment is great .

It's a new open guesthouse and restaurant which belongs to Dzongsar institute. I love pizza and Suja (Bhutanese butter tea), they are delicious and reasonable price. I'm going to try pizza roll next time.

It's the best place in Bir to sit and read a book. It is surounded by greean fields, you will hear the chirping sound of birds, and the best part you can see the gliders landing from this place. Coffee (or your fav drink), book, and that view makes it perfect place to chillax. They have got a very yummy menu, you trying anything you won't regret it. Specially that hut, its interior is so basic, and sort of give you a blend of folk and urben feel. Its a must visit place. Don't miss it, if you are here in Bir.

I ordered an omelette with filling mushroom & spinach and a cup of masala chai. The omelette was very thin and tasted so so. The homemade toast was okay and masala chai was average. I thought the price is a little bit high in this area.
