Broadstairs is a coastal town on the Isle of Thanet in the Thanet district of east Kent, England, about 80 miles (130 km) east of London. It is part of the civil parish of Broadstairs and St Peter's, which includes St Peter's, and had a population in 2011 of about 25,000. Situated between Margate and Ramsgate, Broadstairs is one of Thanet's seaside resorts, known as the "jewel in Thanet's crown". The town's crest's Latin motto is Stella Maris ("Star of the Sea"). The name derives from a former flight of steps in the chalk cliff, which led from the sands up to the 11th-century shrine of St Mary on the cliff's summit.

We have just opened in Broadstairs high street and serve a very different style of food, perfect if you fancy a bit of a change to your normal taste. For the couple of days we have been open already, we have had no complants and the plates come back clean

Lovely meal at The Cardak Turkish restaurant on the High Street,Broadstairs. Huseyin and his team great - and the food was just spectacularly good. The recent refurb makes the place really bright and airy,too. I would recommend this place anytime

I reviewed Broadstairs Kebab's in 2015 and was complimentary. I appreciate there is a lot of competition on the high street. All the more reason for good service.This is our problem. Cold salad slapped on top of generally tasty meat. 30 minutes driving around Broadstairs, not sure if "Domino's" style bags are used to keep food warm, assume so. Even a couple of mins on a cold day out of the car makes a difference. We then have to either warm up or microwave the food and murder the salad or scrape the salad off and reheat again. You then get re-heated meat which I am sure is not totally safe or boiling hot overcooked microwaved meat. The chips then go either cold or hard from being re-heated. I have simply asked in the past for any salad that I would have had be put in a small bag/tray and kept separately. I will even pay for a tray. This seems to be an issue and has made others comment on the same issue. Same with the sauce. Why can the same amount of sauce be put in a pot and a small charge for the pot. The alternative is £2.50 for a salad and £1 for the same sauce in a pot. You probably get more but do not need it.This seems to be when the arrogance sometimes kicks in from the owner and this is simply not necessary. We had a problem going back a long time, 7 years plus and when I questioned the quality I got back "you have only ordered two kebabs, what difference will that make to me if you do not use us" Maybe the dozens of friends and clients I recommend you to!This seems a small problem with a simple solution.The number of terrible reviews are growing and as always said the food is tasty but I feel this would help a lot

Called in on the off chance and had a great chicken doner kebab. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food hot and tasty.
