I'm from England and always visit this place when visiting the area for their excellent range of well kept, quality beers (usually around 12 different types)! This pub is one of the oldest established pubs in the region, starting business around 40 years ago.The staff are always attentive and welcoming.In the last couple of years the owner, Simone, has introduced a comprehensive menu of pizzas that are both tasty and excellent value for money. There are other items on the vast menu, including burgers, sandwiches, steaks etc.Simone and staff have just recently won an award for best pizza in the area, a fantastic achievement in a short space of time.The above are reflected in the large amount of people that choose to eat or drink here on an evening. They can't all be wrong!If you're in the area, give it a try.Cheers!!!!!

Absolute rip off. They don't provide you with a menu stating that the items vary depending on availability of produce. There's a board at the entrance which states 4 courses for 15 euros. The lady asked us if we would like fish or meat. We (2 adults) opted for a fish. Pasta (with bacon despite us requesting for chicken!) was recommended by the chef who came out to take the order as well. The food was just about average. The whole place was riddled with mosquitoes. We were then presented a bill for 40 euros for 1 pasta dish and two antipasti. I queried the bill as it didn't make sense. The lady sheepishly told me that fish costs extra. When I asked her why weren't told when she gave us the option (of fish or meat) in the first place, she gave me an wry smile and apologised but didn't offer to amend the bill. I also pointed out that we had only two out of the 4 courses but madam pretended not to understand!! I suppose they gathered that we weren't local and decided to charge what they liked. Stay away from this restaurant!

We stumbled across this local restaurant in Broccostella by chance and was warmly welcomed by the owner Gianni. Despite my basic grasp of Italian he outlined the menu for us and explained which dishes were currently in season. My friend and I opted for some local fresh anti pasta and then decided to try the Irish and the Italian steaks. The steaks were presented on a sizzling hot plate which included roast potatoes and vegetables with a side of fresh homemade bread. The steaks tasted amazing and were both succulent and tender. The home made tiramisu is also a must. We have since revisited on our way back to Rome and have promised to come back on our next visit to Italy. la ringraziamo molto per la bella recensione. Noi e lo staff siamo davvero felici del fatto che lei abbia apprezzato i nostri prodotti . Un locale raccolto e suggestivo, dalla cucina di qualità a buoni prezzi, fino all'arredamento particolare,passando per il personale cordiale e simpatico.Cliela di un certo spessore ,il che ti permette di scambiare due chiacchiere in tranquillità .Top!
