Perfect for tourists who want to get to know the typical food of the Basilicata. Easy access, centrally located and close to other tourist locations in Matera. We were served by the wife of the husband & wife team. She was patient, attentive, explained all to us from the restaurant origins to dining selections to ingredients (try the fried red peppers--Yum!). The food is all scrumptious, prepared on premises by a local team and well presented. The wine is local and intoxicating. The value is good. Would I dine here again? yes. Would I recommend it to others? yes.

The pizzas here use high quality ingredients and are cooked well; they are comparable to the best that Naples offers. It's great to find a top notch Neapolitan style pizza in Matera! The interior has been sympathetically restored and the menu offers excellent value for money!
