This place was recommended by local friends.Good little "rustic" place offering reasonably priced local meals. We were atable if 7, all ordered something diffetent and all food was very good.They do amazing long island ice teas too!Worth a visit if you're in the area.

A friend of mine brought me to Burrito Republic for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. Like, mindblowingly fantastic. Not only are all the ingredients fresh and prepared right as you walk up, the atmosphere of the restaurant is bright, lively and welcoming. I started by polishing off a good sized burrito and, to the surprise of my friends and the staff, I then went in hard on three more tacos! I could go to this place every day for a month and be wow'd each time, I'm sure. To find a place like this in Costa Rica is an absolute dream and I'll definitely be going out of my way to visit each time I'm even remotely near by. Thanks BR!

This place is great to hang out with family or friends.Several options to choose from, and once you choose, pick a place to sit. So, anyone can pick their favorite dish from different restaurants and then eat all together outside.

Situated on a corner site, this is an impressive looking restaurant in a modern development. It is large and modern, with seating inside and out.We had booked a table (the restaurant gets very busy, I'd recommend booking) and were greeted and seated politely and efficiently. Service throughout was good and English menus were available.As with many Chinese restaurants, the menu was comprehensive but that allowed us to order a selection of dishes to share among us - just the way such a meal should be enjoyed. Everything was well presented and extremely tasty.

The food in here is small by American standards, but delightfully presented, and perfectly cooked. We ate breakfast twice here, and dinner, and every meal was beautiful, tender, and cooked to perfection .Jorge is particular skilled in service - I don't often come across people to his standards. The other staff were wonderful, but he deserved a particular mention.We ordered breakfast on our second morning, and I specially ordered a croissant. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I'd finished it, and a couple of minutes later two more warm croissants appeared quietly beside me.

We went with a large group of friends for an evening of fantastic food and conversation. With such a large group, we were able to try many of the dishes. Everything was fantastic! I highly recommend the ceviche and the chicken sandwiches. We will definitely be back the next time weâre in Costa Rica.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of dining in Davidâs home last week and the experience was excellent and highly recommended. The food was divine - everything was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend, who does not eat anything that looks like it may be a vegetable, ate his entire salad and he loved it. The ice cream was absolutely amazing. We also really enjoyed the cozy feel of the house and the interactions we had with the other diners. We will be returning!Was a great pleasure having you over. Hopefully get to see you soon again. I stayed in this hotel for a week and I spend hours everyday at the Zambra Bar because the environment is great, live music every night, you just can't beat that, bartenders treat you like family.
