This establishment is very welcoming. I found the staff very knowledgeable and made fantastic recommendations. I had the Seasonal Red Tuna with Pineapple and Cucumber and it was excellent . The Chardonnay was very complimentary to my dinner. I will be back for business and with friends. It’s always a pleasure to answer to happy and satisfied clients. We try to do our best, with our recommendations when requested; and we will be happy to see you again

Really looked forward to dinner here based on write ups. We didn’t get what the reviews suggested. Ordered sparking water as usual, got the water - the sparkle had gone. Maybe a hint of gas in the water, but would need scientific evidence. Ordered wine, the wine cork split - normally that would mean either a new bottle or at least decant it. Nup - we drank wine and cork pieces. Not great. I ordered pig cheek and pasta dish, got the pasta in spades, again, would need a DNA test for the pig part of it. My wife had mushroom and squid in a pasta - could have come out of a can.Overall very disappointed. I hate writing bad reviews when everyone else has had a great night out, so maybe it was just an off night. I’ll never know, we won’t do it again.Thank you Chrisk I m sorry you doesn’t enjoy your meal at ToccoFerro I hope to see you again Give us another chance

Very nice location, beside Piazza Navona. Elegant architectural choices, very good service, good customer care. Good quality food, wine list appropriate and complete. Unfortunately, comparing to standard meals in other Rome restaurants of comparable ranking.. portions are small indeed. If you choose tortelli or bottoni..you will be given maybe five or six pieces, which is very good..in order to evaluate if this kind of pasta is " al dente ": Then... you should receive a regular portion. Price quality ratio is acceptable for quality , inappropriate for quantity.

My friends and I stumbled upon this solid fine dining restaurant in Rome. We were surprised that it was such a classy place. The interior and ambiance was intimate and comfortable. The two main stars are the food and customer service. The food was unbelievably delicious. I can’t stop not thinking about the taste! And what a relief to finally have the perfect meal in Rome! Everyone was approachable and accommodating. The owner even came up to us and chatted with us! It was a pleasure to have dined here. Expensive but you get a five star experience. Highly recommended!

I was walking down the street thinking what to eat. Wasn’t sure about my choice yet but surely I wanted to stay far away from noisy tourist space so I got here and I felt the food would be good. So as the local pasta tipical for Rome is Cacio e Pepe I wanted to try it again as first time I ate it and it was too heavy. This one was perfect than kitchen was open to switch pasta type accordingly with my wish and add some panchetta as well. To listen to life music was cool as well especially on Halloween evening.

This restaurant is the best I have been to in a very long time. I had the steak cooked to 67 degrees, and it was tender and served exquisitely. Service by Giorgio and preparation by Enrico were excellent. We were advised to have a specific wine which was the perfect accompaniment to our meals. We were given some tidbits to taste which were a pleasant surprise. You can’t miss by eating here!

La Dogana Food

Reviewed By zigno2009

A multi-ethnic restaurant, with many possibilities and various kind of kitchens and food. Very crowded and very well organized, it is like a food factory chain. The quality of food can't be excellent therefore, but nonetheless it is tasty and well cooked. Special place, very kind personnel. In the rainy days the floor is quite slippery: watch out!. The formula is "all you can eat", but you have to pay for any beverage, considered as an extra. If you have a normal sized stomach, it is a bit expensive (more than 16 euro per person).
