The restaurant is really placed in the antico borgo, ancient farm, some of the premises are tumbledown, but it adds particular charm for that place. Don`t wait especial design for the interior. Only tables and chairs. Only snowing behind the window! But, of course, it is exception. The best food in winter it is meat with fat! The best meat with fat is cotechino! Cotechino is pork sausage boiled before suppling to the table, very tasty. Spagetti alla chitarra con salsicia e nobbiolo - fantastic, and at the end, osobucco. Beleive me, it is special osobucco. The only orecchini was my mistake.I am really under impression! The place to be!

I didn't give it 5 stars because it is quite expensive, this is the only reason. Besides its position is not exceptional, being on the Via Emilia, a busy road that goes from Milan to Bologna and then to the Adriatic coast. Apart from that the food is exceptional, well presented, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat . I was invited to a Christening Party and I was impressed. I definitely suggest to give it a try! You won't regret it!

We ate here for three nights as part of our group meal -- and each night we were given a 4 course excellent meal. They were also very accommodating to our requests -- especially for members of the group who had special diets. The service was great and those who waited on us were very attentive. Only a few minutes away from the hotel Milano 3.Buongiorno,la direzione e lo staff di Rivalago ringraziano per le gentili parole della recensione, cercheremo sempre nel migliore dei modi di migliorare la nostra qualità e accontentare sempre il cliente.Grazie e a presto Eva/Rivalago.

We where a party of 12 we had piza, fiorentina steak, risotto and several dessert. Everything was very good. They also have a nice wine list

I know this place since it was a little room with a few chairs available. So it's about 5 years I'm having fun with delicious chinese and japanese food in there :-) . Absolutely friendly owner with great experience managing a restaurant, they moved from a little room to a very wide one without loose any of their attractive previous skills: high quality and fresh japanese meals; pleasant and friendly approach to meet customer satisfaction; extremely wide chinese food choice with chance to taste marvelous mongolian style of sea food mix or meat mix ones... you'll love them while cooking on your own. as added value there's now bigger restaurant room with a relatively simple forniture supplied by a quality service. Simple and clean that's most important. Quite often you'll meet real japanese or chinese peoples having meal inside.What else can say?...: I'm going to have dinner in there :-)

Mi sono recata per l'ennesima volta presso questo ristorante con la mia migliore amica per la prima volta, impiattamento curato e nel dettaglio, per non parlare del gusto! Abbinamenti perfetti, servizio cordiale, ti fanno sentire come fossi a casa :). Consiglio vivamente per una pausa da leccarsi i baffi!

Very much a local restaurant! Everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is very traditional. The food is very good but more importantly the value for your money is outstanding. Good experience!

This was our best meal in all of Italy! They were very friendly and accommodating. There were 6 of us and they handled that very well. Every entree was absolutely delicious!!!!! Even though we only stayed one night in Opera we tried to figure out how to come back and eat here again! Wonderful!

We eat here often and are always happy with it. The best feature is the family atmosphere, and the personalities of the famiky that runs it. The food is creative and delicious. The mamma who takes your order is a real character who explains the menu in a mixture of Italian and English and accompanies her delivery with dance moves and smiles galore!
