Il locale è molto bello, arredato in stile moderno, con un bellissimo bancone in stile pub. All'esterno c'è anche un bel dehor con vista sulla vallata. Ma per tutto il resto non ci siamo proprio. La pizza, sebbene fosse un po' bruciacchiata, era nella media. Ma quello che mi ha lasciata alquanto perplessa è stato il servizio, a cominciare dal posizionamento dei coperti: il nostro tavolo (12 persone) era stato disposto a L. Mi sono così ritrovata a dare le spalle ad alcuni commensali. Considerando che il locale è molto grande e quella sera era per 3/4 vuoto, credo si sarebbe potuta trovare una soluzione migliore. Per il resto non ci è stato portato il bicchiere per il vino, abbiamo dovuto chiedere che ci venisse portato il pane (ordinato sia pizze che pesce). Tutto questo considerando che il locale era per 3/4 vuoto. Ma il peggio è stato quando uno dei dolci ordinati (un tartufo) che ci è stato servito "sciolto". Alle nostre richiesti di chiarimenti ci è stato risposto che viene servito così, poi (su nostra insistenza di chiarimenti) che effettivamente qualcosa era andato storto e sostituito con un altro tipo di dolce. Non ci tornerò e nemmeno lo consiglio.

Very good restaurant with ample parking near Parma. Food was super. We had pizza which was one of the best I had, Manzo with Rucola e parmiggiano and Tagliatelle al ragu di anatra. Sweets cassatina siciliana and semifreddo di torroncino. Waiter service is excellent. Discovered this restaurant as I was driving through Montechiarugolo.

Every time when I arrive in Montecchio Emilia I visit Pizzeria Madison. Pizza is excellent, crunchy, bih and cheap. It is open every day. Of course there are other food sd grillef meat.

Went here as part of our cooking class and met the chef and assisted in preparing our lunch. Luckily he was heavy handed in the work and the result was spectacular. We were hungry at lunch but didnât want a heavy, complicated ristorante type A-Z meal. Since we were in the neighborhood we found RPMLL. What a treat! Foccacia to start, with a cipolla topping. Excellent salad, fantastic pizza: perfect crust, exceptional sauce, highest quality mozzarella... fine quality olive oil and tasty balsamic vinegar... chased down with local Lambrusco. Topped off with lemoncello and an unbelievable cherry liquor which we were informed was 42% alcohol. The interior is a bit tacky. Donât let that put you off. Hungry? Go! Closed Mondays.

A large group of us had a set meal here which we all thought was really good.We had multiple courses which were all quality ingredients, fresh, tasty and served up very quickly by friendly, helpful staff.Some of the tastes and textures were fantastic, every piece of food I had was top notch and the restaurant is modern and very nicely furnished.It's a great place to be with amazing food - you won't be sorry if you give it a try !

Locale situato vicino al castello, ma dall interno non si vede nulla. Personale di sale molto informale e poco professionale. Menù nella norma, niente di eccezionale. Prezzo decisamente alto per la qualità e la quantità dei piatti. Carta dei vini buona anche se un po' troppo commerciale. Si può trovare di meglio ed a miglior rapporto qualità prezzo. Non consigliato.

This restaurant is located in the small town of Montecchio. It moved around a year ago from the original Red Lion site to a new larger location on top of a shopping centre just 2 minutes down the road. It feels a little Chinese as you approach with the Red Lion theme, a large rising or setting sun mural on the wall and even a lantern style lamp illuminating the outside seating area. But once inside it's unmistakably Italian. Our group all opted for the huge metre long pizza's mostly accompanied by beer which is a good thing as the beer selection is huge, varied and excellent.The pizzas were huge, magnificent and full of flavour. I'm sure the full menu is also good but on pizza and beer alone this is a 5 star establishment. Service was also friendly and efficient.
