Super lunch very good value . The position of the outside eating area is divine set in a beautiful cove along the coast from Taranto. It was a beautiful sunny day with the tables shaded by tamarisk trees The owner (manager?) was incredibly helpful. The highlight was fresh locally caught fish which you were invited to inspect before it was cooked. Before that we were asked to sample lots of appetisers beautifully cooked. The mussels baked in an open shell covered in breadcrumbs with a touch of fennel were great We were recommended a Puglian white wine which was incredible value @ â¬7 for a bottle and very pleasant. Best meal of our week in Italy and very reasonably priced.

Location 8Menu 9Servizio 9Conto 8Location con gazzebo estivo molto luminoso e accogliente. Siamo stati ieri sera per una rimpatriata familiare e abbiamo degustato un infinitaâ di portate di antipasto (frittura, affettati, parmigiana, frittatine, polipo, tortini..) tutto buono e di qualità . Pizze buone. Conto giusto. Da ritornare.

Not sure what came first, the name or the deco but regardless do not miss this weird looking restaurant if in the area! Great antipasti, excellent wines (including Milleuna production) and very reasonable prices. You won't need the main course.

Situata al fianco del castello di Leporano l'ingresso della locanda sfrutta le mura della fortezza e ne ricava con eleganza una location indimenticabile. Il personale è gentilissimo, e il menù curato e buonissimo, prezzo molto contenuto.Veramente incantato dalla qualità , serata molto gradevole.

Location un po' anonima dove e' possibile mangiare all'esterno in un cortile sul retro del locale dove, in effetti, ho cenato con mia moglie. Le luci basse per dare atmosfera in realta', combinate con l'arredo minimalista mettevano tristezza. Certo molto contribuiva l'esseregli unici ospiti. La cena e' iniziata con un offerta di frittelle all'apparenza molto invitanti, ma intrise di olio. Ordinato antipasto di terra mare e frittura di paranza, a finire un sorbetto. La parte di terra dell'antipasto, capocollo, formaggio, nodino e un involtino di zucchine, senza infamia e senza lode. Con la parte di mare il livello e' precipitato , i coccioli sembravano pezzetti di plastica insapori cosi' come l' insalatina di mare. Il peggio un gamberone la cui consistenza era paragonabile ad una crema dal gusto dubbio. Buone le cozze gratinate onestamente dichiarate spagnole in assenza di quelle locali. Superato a fatica l' antipasto e' arrivata la frittura abbonante. Buoni i pesci da dimenticare in fretta i calamari e i gamberi. Buono il negramaro ed il sorbetto. 10 e lode ad Alessandro l'incolpevole cameriere, gentilissimo e professionale. Prezzo che, se avessi mangiato bene, avrei giudicato normale.

La Barca gives its absolute best when they do not have to deal with big crowds. I have been a few times now and I have enjoyed an excellent service and an exquisite culinary experience...worth a Michelin star. However, the level of attention goes down considerably when the place is full. It still offers a great experience and a very solid price/quality ratio. Still worth my vote.

We were served a 'tasting menu' style selection of starters, followed by mains and dessert, which comprised of several antipasti. fresh seafood, vegetable and meat dishes, with fillet stake as a main.It was all delicious, freshly prepared by the owner of the B&B and served by his daughter. We didn't have the option of ordering a la carte, but we were very happy with what was provided to us. Given the amount we ate and drank, I'd say it was pretty good value for â¬30-â¬35 EUR a head for such a generous selection of dishes.Would definitely recommend and will be back,

Our B/B recommended Canneto private Beach Club. We could not find the entrance so entered via the public beach next door. We asked the lifeguard where we could purchase tickets for chairs. He called to the reception and they advise we had to go back and walk around the road to enter. I asked if we could not just walk directly walk through the club but were told we had to walk around which took us 10 minutes in the heat of the day. We paid the 8 euros for chairs as requested. When we went back onto the beach we were told all the chairs were already booked, however at least 40 sun beds next to the water were free. We finally had to take chairs on the cliff top. All day we only saw 3 to 4 beds used in that area and the rest remained empty! If we were informed at time of buying tickets we couldn't sit next to the sea we would not have bothered going in. Be aware this club is not accommodating or interested in tourists or anyone who is not a club member.

One of the best meals we had in Puglia when we were in the region, this small family restaurant serves all the local dishes. The owners know very little English, so some Italian knowledge comes in handy :).We ordered some antipast, a primi piatti and she suggested to wait to order the main course after we ate the appetizers and the first course, which was a good advice... She served us all kinds of local dishes, and one for one they were excellent. My wife ordere a glass of prosecco and I ordered a glass of red wine. We both received a glass with about half a litre! in the glass... Mor than enough for the whole dining experience (and only 1,5 euro per glass! the quality of the wine/prosecco was ok by the way).First time we came by, I shook the handle of the door and the place was closed, but as we walked away from the restaurant the son of the owner came to open the door and invited us in (they opened the restaurant just for us 2!)... It was so good that we decided to go back a second time!

BlueBay non è solo un ottimo ristorante ma anche un un'eccellente residence di alto livello con piscina. Il ristorante offre una cucina semplice e tradizionale, infatti si possono ben gustare tipici piatti di mare all'aperto con un buon servizio. Consigliato
