à un mondo meraviglioso quello che si scopre con un pochino di impegno, scavallando lâimmediato hinterland milanese per arrivare fino a Corbetta. Basta un attimo per capire che il luogo vale la strada, un piccolo angolo incantato con un portico affascinante, un vialetto di ghiaia che fa tanto Toscana come il cotto dei pavimenti allâinterno del locale, dove si viene accolti da un meraviglioso bancone bar. Ma il meglio deve ancora venire, perché al di là del gusto con cui la titolare Marilena Tota ha allestito le sale, al di là del calore che i caminetti trasmettono anche se sono spenti e non hanno alcuna funzione primaria da svolgere, la cucina è il valore inestimabile che questo luogo esprime. Lâesperienza della chef Marika Prina non va certo a scapito del suo entusiasmo. La voglia di rinnovarsi, di provare nuovi accostamenti sempre con il massimo equilibrio, lâamore infinito per le materie prime di qualità , rende qualunque preparazione degna di essere ricordata. Può capitare di sentir sussurrare tra i tavoli un accento romanesco che commenta: âUna cacio e pepe così non si mangia nemmeno a Frascatiâ. Declinata sui tonnarelli o anche sul risotto, ad alto coefficiente di cremosità , trasporta lontano le papille gustative, ma la stessa impressione vale per alcuni gioielli che Marika fa uscire da una cucina dove è la regina incontrastata e dove si accontenta di un solo assistente, come le capesante su vellutata di zucca, il rombo chiodato con funghi porcini e riduzione di vino rosso. E per completare la perfezione dellâinsieme câè anche il plusvalore di un servizio tutto al femminile svolto con grazia e sapienza, puntuale, preciso e disponibile a buoni consigli, impermeabile a qualche piccolo vizio dei clienti, perfettamente integrato con la filosofia delle due signore che hanno sognato, pensato, realizzato e valorizzato questo angolino di mondo meraviglioso.

We were here on a Wednesday night, people were not very much, but we had to wait a very long time until we bring our order. The couple at the next table left without waiting for their meals. Also the staff does not speak English.

Con un gruppo di amici sono stato in questo ristorante sito appena fuori Corbetta.L'ambiente e' un po' spartano,con arredo normale,luci sparate,tavoli spaziosi e tovaglioli di carta.Il personale e' sollecito e molto disponibile.Il menu' varia dal pesce,preminente,alla carne.Dopo alcuni antipastini stuzzicanti,abbiamo assaggiato dei buoni malloreddus al sugo,oltre a dei validi ravioli.A seguire il piatto principale della serata,uno splendido maialino sardo al forno con patate.Morbidissimo,cotto a puntino e davvero gustoso.Per concludere un assaggino di dolci tra cui le seadas al miele,direi gustose.Cena accompagnata da Cannonau di buon livello con un conto finale di 30 euro.Un luogo adatto a compagnie soprattutto di giovani.

We were staying at the Diamante Hotel near Magenta and the desk clerk recommended this pizzeria/restaurant only 100 meters away from the hotel. I was skeptical, thinking that they probably had some arrangement to promote this nearby business but it turned out to be one of the best pizzas we have had in 2 months of traveling in Italy. Four of us ate together and we all agreed it was a top notch pizza. Inexpensive too. Recommended for anyone staying in the Magenta area. Warning: this is not a pretty or historical area. Not many tourists for good reason. But if you have a reason to be in Magenta, try this restaurant.

Nice place, nice owners & nice atmosphere. I usually go there to taste both their foccacia and especially their risotto. The risotto tends to change almost every day but is always good (especially al fungi). Last time I had a risotto with zucchini flowers : very nice !Price is also very reasonable and service is very efficient for a quick lunch.Definitely a place to try !

Not very well known in Magenta (most hotels send you to Madre Perla/Pesche e Farina etc. We went there twice with a party of 3 people. At north Europeans, we eat earlier than most Italians, so we entered around 19h15. Hence we got personalized service, e.g. one of us wanted soup, which is not on the menu => he got soup, homemade by the lady chef! Wine by the glass was excellent (5 euro Alba), our favourite dish was mixed grilled fish with vegetables. Next day I had "catch of the day" which was served in a pot with vegetables. All very tasty and nicely presented.

The restaurant is nice with pretty modern furniture.Service quality is average, sometime the waiters suggest a bit too much what to choose...Food quality is good, fish is very fresh and well prepared, good wine selection.The only negative point is the noise... too much, sometime annoying while taking with your guests.Prices are a bit above average, considering service, quality and environment.

From the first look of the exterior I thought it's going to be just another low quality wannabe restaurant. Everything else has been a shock in the most positive way. I usually write about every meal individually and try to be all gourmet leveled but in this case I'll stay short and brief. It was fabulous.I'll definitely come back and will even plan additional business trips to the region just to eat as good as I have here.

Strange setting between rural italian farm and middleage Scottish castle. Owner is without doubt the main attraction, cool for the first time i wonder about the second, we heard him repeat the same story to all the tables. We went for the four apitizers: good and fresh ... Nothing outstanding. Properly priced. Don't trust him for the wine, what proposed is poor
