We took the train to this village and was not disappointed. As you come out of the train station turn left and the restaurant is at the end of that lane, on a cross road,on your right. Lots of Seating outside with some shade from a large tree and plenty inside. We had the menu of the day which I think was 2 courses hubby had escalope of pork and I had spaghetti bolognese which we can recommend. The cost was 12 euros per person and based on that you could not find better.We also had 1/2 carafe house white wine for 4 euros again great for the price and we are picky!The coffee was good which you would expect in Italy.A great stop off for a good priced menu of the day and we would recommend for couples, families and groups. Staff very polite especially as I only have pigeon Italian.

Non è la prima volta che veniamo in questo locale che nella sua semplicità non delude mai. Ieri ci siamo stati per una merenda - cena sulla bella terrazza esterna, vero punto di forza nella stagione estiva, ed è stata davvero una serata piacevole.Siamo partiti con degli ottimi salumi, tutti di qualità notevole ma con un lardo strepitoso e con dei buoni formaggi nostrani. Due parole in più merita la pizza che non è un orrendo panetto surgelato in fabbrica ma viene impastata, lievitata e cotta come si deve: il risultato è un prodotto leggero e gustoso, con la crosta che rimane morbida ed elastica come dovrebbe essere nelle pizze âserieâ che, purtroppo, in Ossola si trovano raramente.I dolci fatti in casa sono davvero golosi e buoni così come la genziana finale offerta da Andrea, padrone di casa molto gentile e competente. Alla prossima, noi ci torneremo sicuramente!

Dopo il cambio gestione di Gennaio ed un bel rinnovo dei locali il Bar Trattoria Stazione vi aspetta tutti i giorni per colazione pranzo merende e cena!!!

Dropped in here going for a quick lunch before we head for the hills. We were really delighted at the quality of the food and the service here. Lots of very fresh and local food, cooked with enthusiasm and real skill. Hopefully will be able to drop in again on the way off the hill.Highly recommended and worth a detour. Thank you to the guys that run this place.
