I feel I owe it to the Trip Advisor community to let you know how disappointing this restaurant is.It had been recommended by our hotel because it was right next door so we gave it a go. We ordered an entree of 6 mixed fish appetisers. The presentation was most unappetising. The platter consisted of smoked fish which was quite nice, but the marinated octopus was slimy, and the cubes of tuna were so over cooked they were like tough meat. A minced raw prawn concoction had an unpleasant flavour. We sent most of the platter back uneaten and complained to management, but they still charged us the full price and made no effort to even compensate with even a single glass of wine, which would have been a nice gesture. Our main course was a fresh grilled fish which was simply prepared and cleaned beautifully for us at the table. That was a nice touch, and the waitstaff were all very nice. Unfortunately the fish had no flavour whatsoever. The owner brought us the bill and was unapologetic, and not at all gracious, saying that many other diners do enjoy the entree platter. That didn’t help our experience at all. He would be well advised to handle complaints in a nicer way!It was quite expensive too. We couldn’t wait to get out of there!Fortunately, we had some terrific dining experiences elsewhere is San Vito Lo Capo.I feel i owe it to the trip advisor comunity to let you know how arrogant this lady is thanks to the hotel next door we Have many clients sent to us mainly because we mainten a high standard and specily of 100 per cent quality of food we mainten a small menu because we cook everyday fresh food i disagreed with this client because the starter was perfect i explained to this lady who complained of the freshness that around her about 50 persons we did note Have no complaints at all we had only compliments so i retain that the starter is correctly paid if the client instead of offending our food world Have said that this dish was not of her understanding i would have not included the starter on the bill and to her comment on the price that she found high in the entrance and at the table she saw the prices and she could have declined if she thought that we were expensive anyway i would like to say that the husbund was a real gentleman of his wife i prefer if is better not to comment saluti and by the way with the were you stayed we have been overbooked all year round maybe there Will be a motive

The food here is amazing-the chef is so talented! Came here two nights while staying inSan Vito. Be adventurous and have the local cuisine and not just the pizza ( even the Italian children eat the fish!)! My favourite starter was the layered aubergine with tomatoes and ricotta with mint- incredible! My pasta with tuna was delicious as was the pasta with aubergine almonds and tomato. There were many people waiting for a table so come here early. Most of them were Italians who expect the best food. Only discovered afterwards that this restaurant features in the Michelin guide-a well deserved entry. Thank you so much for being with us and for taking the time to write this fantastic review. We hope to see you soon

Great choice of pizza and appetizers along with other pasta, seafood and meat main dishes. Ricotta stuffed ravioli in fish soup demanded a repeat visit to this trattoria. Kids love the pizza topped with french fries. Service was great. Josie and her team were very attentive to our needs. Try some of their special desserts to complete your evening meal. This trattoria is popular with the locals. Reservations are advised for weekends and the busy tourist season.

Good baked potatoes with cheese and sicilian sausage and pizza with original spicy taste was what we get, but the best was on the end, when the owner surpriced us with free lemon liquer shots called "limonchello". They have the best lemon ice cream what we had in San Vito! Must try! They have a nice garden and friendly staff.

We stumbled upon this perfect small pizza restaurant. Sit in or take out option. We had a take out to enjoy in our lovely rental nearby.Vegan is not always an option, without special request so I was thrilled to see it advertised with its own poster sitting proudly on the counter! Aubergine, Bell pepper, with a beautiful tomato sauce. Really tasty, light and fresh. My husband had mozzarella rucola with parma ham pizza which was sublime. The base is light, Cooked perfectly in their wood fired oven. Super quick service, friendly staff.Looking forward to having another pizza here on our next visit! Great value too.

Very stressed waiters who got the orders all wrong and also forgot one of the courses. Food was ok though. The pasta was over-priced. We asked for two glasses of white wine, and were served two very small glasses of rose. We thought they were samples! The bill was handwritten and unreadable. Not much of an experience.thanks for the review, we do not consider a seafood dish at 15 euros expensive, and there was not a rosé wine and considering that, in Norway, there is not this wine culture, we realize that you have not been able to understand the color. With a bottle we make 5 glasses, then a glass of 150 ml for 3.50 euros is considered, by us, more than honest. considering that we have been doing this job for over 15 years and that we are Italian, we do not accept, in the catering sector, unfounded criticism of our experience, especially from those who are not culturally prepared on wine, prices, and the quality of the food we claim with passion. We do not consider a single star in five to be respectful, considering that the dishes have arrived totally empty. Remember that if you come to Italy, and eat well and drink excellent wine, and the service is of high professionalism, all this has a cost that must be considered. We hope to welcome you as our guests, to make you change your mind, we wish you pleasant holidays in our land.

Nice little pizza joint, has some tables to eat in but serves mainly as takeaway. We eat there one night and had some pizzas for takeaway twice after. Pizza is very good and extremely cheap. Starter plates were also nice. Staff is friendly and quick. A lot of the locals seem to get their pizzas here, too.
