This restaurant is near our home in San Romano. We have eaten here at dinner and lunch several times in the past couple of years. The food is excellent and plentiful. Service is tops. They speak some English and do their best to serve you with a smile. The house white wine is excellent. Many locals eat here as well to is is not just a tourist place. The hotel looks inviting although I have never stayed here since we live only ten minutes away. Great walking trails and Garfagnana sights all around. Beautiful view from the restaurant and hotel.

Stayed two nights in Camporgiano and had dinner at Davy's on both nights (and breakfast, too).Very friendly, we ate inside on the first night, but the place was full the following evening (we hadn't booked) so we sat at an outside table.Good service, everything we had from the menu was delicious, only slight criticism was the predominance of white in the decor ! Very reasonably priced, too.Equally good service at breakfast, where half the village seemed to call in for a caffé !

Ometto was once a hang-out for marble miners and hasn't completely lost the rustic look which was part of its charm. The owner died in 2011, Ometto was an ex partigiano from the second world war, and since some of the most vicious battles were held in the zone, which is near the Gothic Line, he hated Germans and wouldn't allow them to enter his restaurant. The family now runs the show, and there's no problem with German tourists.The pizza has won international prizes, and the local cuisine is absolutely irresistible. Try the Bacalà fritters.

I've been visiting this area now for the past 17 years so I think I know what constitutes as a good pizza. This place produces some of the best pizzas around and for only around 6 / 7 euros. The house wine is good and I've been told by my parents that the salads are also very good. We will certainly be returning next year.

The Tavolello is off the main road going through Piazza al Serchio, so look for the sign taking you up a steep road on the right if coming from the Lucca direction.This venue is popular with locals and also does a large amount of take away business so service can feel slow even when the restuarnt is quiet.They do some nice table Pizza'a where you can chose four different toppings, always popular with the kids.This resturant does get busy from 8ish on Friday and Saturday so bewarned.We visit several times a year and always enjoy it.

The home made pasta is always exceptional.Rosa and Giuliana and the staff are friendly and helpful.Lovely atmosphere at lunchtime.Dogs are welcome.

Sono passato dal locale casualmente per una pizza , locale piccolo ma molto carino pizzaiolo molto competente e disponibile. Pizza buonissima con un impasto delicato e condimenti di prima qualità ....poi la scrocchi stella mai provata prima, buonissima . Che dire... Il consiglio è di passarci

Panorama splendido ,ma quello che conta quando vai al ristorante è la cucina,qui purtroppo non si mangia affatto bene,concordo con altra recensione che afferma che in una mensa si mangia meglio,credo che la cucina sia gestita da persona senza un minimo di esperienza,oltretutto ho pagato 26 ⬠a persona,non contento della brutta esperienza a pranzo ho provato a cena con la pizza e anche qui non ci sono parole ,sfoglia finissima come non mi era mai capitato,un napoletano sarebbe inorridito,non si può dare 0 altrimenti lo darei

Lovely little place, in a small village with no English people, 1 waitress with limited English language to help you order of your not familiar with the lingo. Food is good and reasonably priced.I'm sure you could have a better taste of Italy if you can speak Italian!!No rush with anything which was nice, locals start filling the restaurant around 20:30 onwards and does get busy.

Great pizza, great wine, great service. We went as a group of friends on a recommendation, and had a great evening with some of the best pizza available in the area!
