Our 4th time there in 3 years! Food is excellent, very reasonably priced, staff friendly and very accommodating...very few tourists! Only downside is the noise of the traffic if you're enjoying the weather outside...but if you've spent much time in Italy you know that comes with the territory!Last year we had two small grandchildren with us and they we just a friendly as always!!

Probably this is a family-oriented restaurant, and this explains why there were so many kids screaming and running around like maniacs. I am not against children if they are well-mannered, but when it is too much it becomes annoying for the other guests trying to have dinner and trying to exchange a normal conversation. Food was overall good, a bit over-priced, but what ruined everything was the atmosphere. Not to try if you see kids running around...

Seeing it from outside also looks good as a location but the real problem is inside. Poor service (very dubious waiters). The pizza that looked like one of those frozen and heated at the time. The highlight is the kitchen where INCOMPETENCE reignsboth in grilling a piece of meat, moreover already cooked (I assume previously boiled) and BAD SMELL and it was also COLD;both in making a simple pasta dish ... Where I don't add anything else.In short, we spent the night being sick!!! Not recommended!!!Good morning from the staff,Really sorry to hear that you have been sick but I don't remember of any customer complainig of our pizza or our meat.First thing, our pizza is freshly made and we use only the best ingredients on the market. Same thing for our meat and our pasta, freshly deliverd every morning from our trusted supplier, and we're doing our best to always stay at the pace of kitchen new technologies.Customers that knows us and keep coming back since 2003 know that so we're not really worried about your reviewbut we'll be pleased to have you back here to discuss with you and show you why we've been open for this long.Have a nice day and we're waiting for you alla Locanda Gallehus any time soon

Pizza was soggy and not crusty, spaghetti ragu and spaghetti carbonara were plain and nothing special about them, see food spaghetti marinara was simply not good.The restaurant is beautiful, located right ay the entrance to the old city and port. Long line of people waiting outside, so finding a table of 5 without reserving was considered lucky... How disappointing.prices are fairDear â492guyvâ,I donât usually discuss personal tastes, but in this case I feel compelled.You see, it would be the case to learn the difference between âI didn't like itâ and âit wasnât goodâ before writing a review on any website. Here, you have expressed a personal viewpoint, instead of relying on the objective qualities of the food prepared by us. Big news: the fact that you didnât like it certainly doesnât mean it wasnât good!Also, if it was just a course that you didnât find to your liking, I might even have thought it was our mistake, but since you criticized anything, from pizza to carbonara, from ragu to spaghetti with seafood, well, I realized that the problem is not ours. Hi We stay at Villa Camporosso from the 15th to the 22nd and ate in restaurant 4 nights and ever night we tried different things on menu if you like seafood they do some really nice dishes ,pizza was excellent menu in English,German,Italian staff all spoke english we would have eaten here every night but we thought we should try different places for 3 of us 2 courses and all drinks including beers it was about â¬45-60⬠a night we had a meal in Lazise by lake cost 80⬠and was not a patch on here it's only 5 minute drive from movieland and I would eat there again even if I was not staying at Villa Camporosso

A hot Saturday evening in probably the best location Sirmione, Lake Garda and this place is heaving with people prepared to line up and wait for a table as were the 4 of us but waiting is no chore as people watching fills the perfectly.Within 15 minutes we were seated and after ordering drinks began to explore the menu which is rich in variety. We shared starters of two salads, one Nicoise and the other Tri-colore both presented beautifully with the freshest of ingredients and bursting with flavour. Most mains consisted of Pasta but I chose the Mixed Fried Fish which was fabulous but coming Fries proved to be a bit more than I could handle but with friends to share this was no problem.The House White Wine is terrific with a little fizz that makes it quite special as was the service by 2 brothers who were as synchronised as robots, amazing meal and a great night out. The bill came to a not unreasonable Euro 100 with tip.

Great pizza and great service.We popped in one evening and sat outside this cosy little restaurant/takeaway on the Gardesana Road linking Peschiera and Lazise.She had spaghetti and I had a pizza; both of which were lovely and satisfying.Very reasonably priced food and Pit Stop also provides a takeaway/delivery service (â¬3 supplement) and the staff are very friendly and attentive. They clearly want their customers to have a positive experience.Would definitely visit again.

This is such a lovely place in the middle of nowhere, never seen anything like it.The pub is absolutely gorgeous, the staff super friendly, food is lovely and their beer is fantastic! I recommend to everyone to go to this place. We had dinner and drinks and we wanted to watch the football and the staff kindly put that on the screen. When we went to pay, their line was down, I was mortified and there was no cash machine around and to be fair we had a few drinks and we did not want to drive. The guy behind the bar simply said " Oh don't worry you can come back tomorrow ", I could not believe it, as a Londoner I did not expect to be trusted to walk away and come back to pay the next day as I was a stranger to them. LOVELY PEOPLE, LOVELY BEER AND GORGEOUS CASTLE
