We thoroughly enjoyed our perfectly-cooked Ravioli 'Vecchia Cento' served with a creamy, buttery sauce topped by pancetta and walnuts. Quite delicious. Started with a nice fresh green salad. Accompanied by a tasty, crisp 1/2 bottle of Fanaghina. Attentive service, our server was especially patient with our poor Italian language skills.We ended up at this place, on a day of discovering the home village of my grandmother, thanks to a tip from a very nice woman at the Commune de Cento Office. We scored big time, thanks to her good advice!

Bel ristorante con due belle sale. Abbiamo preso la pizza molto sotttile ma grande. Buona e ben condita. Buoni gli spaghetti alle vongole.In 7 persone con 6 pizze, uno spaghetto alle vongole, un'insalata mista, due dolci, tre birre, quattro bottiglie d'acqua e due caffè abbiamo speso 118â¬. Personale molto gentile

The restaurant is nothing to look at, zero atmosphere. But the food is authentic cuisine from this area. The fresh, home made pasta is fantastic, made by certified Pieve grandmothers. The place is clean. The service is very good. The prices are very reasonable. Free half liter of wine for any American that can speak decent Piveng dialect. (joke). But you'll love the place.

Best ever. This is one of the best of the area, for sure! During a trip to Italy about two months ago we ended up in the countryside areas of Bologna/Modena/Ferrara and asked around for a local restaurant and got suggested the Cantagallo. Besides serving some great pizzas they offer these fantastic homemade stuffed pastas such as tortellini and tortelloni not to forget some great meat dishes among which I would pick beef fillet done in different styles such as the balsamic vinegar one or the tagliata steak with parmesan and rocket salad. That week they had a whole special menu based on truffle dishes, so good! All washed down with some incredibly affordable local varieties of wine. Easy going friendly service and unbeatable value for money. At the end of the meal we got served a tray with selection of five different local digestive liquors...full bottles at extra no charge!!! NOT TO BE MISSED if you are around the Emilia Romagna region, just on top of Toscany.

Went to La Pergola with my family, thanks to Groupon. What a wonderful atmosphere! Warm welcome, tasty dishes, attentive, personal and quick service. All this despite being a very busy Sunday evening. The cold meat and cheese platter was especially generous, the pizzas thin, crispy and not overloaded and the desserts were very well presented. Judging by the number of people who were oredering from the main menu, this is a place worth returning to!

Here we found some good typical dishes, with the local wine (I don't like it too much, but it was ok with a good quality/price ratio).The atmosphere is very nice. The service is not at the same level, but there was a big crowd so you can understand their difficulties.

The pizza is good, big and thin. The place is cheap but God! Very very very basic. Don't go here if you are on a romantic date, it is just for low budget families and huge group of friends. However the pizza is good, take it away.

I went here on the 21st of August 2019.The restaurant is quite spacious and staff were very friendly.I was in a group of 6 people, who had 6 different pizzas and not one could complain.All of the Pizzas were delicious and I would highly recommend this place for both locals and tourists from abroad.Thank you very much, kind customer, for the nice and friendly review.
