Just excellent food all around, not pretentious. I really appreciate how dedicated the owners and staff were to providing an excellent dining experience. We tried I Frati Rossi and Confusion Boutique restaurants and regret not coming back to Clipper as it was the best meal we had on our trip. Bravo to the three sisters creating an excellent dining establishment in Sardinia!Thank you very much.... Hope to see you again !!!!!

Absolute rubbish. Acts like it's all posh with what must be said is a great view over the beach, but it's food isn't worth the pretentious staff and clientele. Squid starter was all soft batter and no fish. Shell fish all closed when arrived so straight in the bowl uneaten. Hardly any choice of fish for main, so asked for catch of day and was told were 2 left but I couldn't have one of them, so ordered pork and came out in a bath of mustard cream, with inedible hard pieces of crap on the side, which the rude waiter told me were there for decorations. If I wanted that I'd go to homebase. Wife had mixed fried fish, and was a bread surrounded construction of grease. He asked if we liked it, so told the truth, and he argued with us. We can like what we like and not have to explain ourselves. Wouldn't have mentioned it if he never asked in the first place. Plenty of other places to eat nearby with way more choices so stay away. 150 for pure crap (all 4 courses were awful).

After trying a number of restaurants in the Baia Sardinia area, the standard has been just OK. However, tonight we ventured further out and tried the Mezza Luna. This was up with the best so far! Had a lovely Italian based meal with good drinks, all at a reasonable cost. Service was good, not rushed and very friendly. Well worth trying.

Went here on our first week with friends, we all had decent food and wine and a good time, so much so that we, as a couple, decided to return on our second week. The place was fairly empty, more staff than guests. We eventually, after sitting for quite a while, had 3 members of staff turn up to take our order..we told them we’d like a drink first while perusing the menu, we also chose our wine..our drinks and the wine turned up, and the young waiter insisted on opening our wine despite the fact we told him we weren’t ready for it, he also asked us for our food order, again we told him we weren’t ready and would like to have our pre-dinner drinks. The restaurant by this time was filling up slowly and I noticed a couple who came in after us had their drinks, wine and food all brought together within 10 minutes of arriving..McDonalds sprang to mind!!Eventually we had chosen our food and tried to attract a member of staff..we were ignored by everyone of them..a senior waiter then sent the same young waiter to our table, unfortunately for him I saw him making a derogatory comment and facial expression towards us and when he came to the table he had such a bad attitude towards us, we asked him to bring the bill, we were not prepared to sit there and watch members of staff gesticulating towards us..who know what extras might have gone into our food.. unfortunately the opened bottle of wine was tipped into the ice bucket and we paid our bill and left.I explained to the senior waiter why and got a shrug for my commentsWorst ever service in Italy.

This place is quite comfortable and quaint, offering a beautiful rustic ambiance of a typical Italian restaurant. Both nights we arrived without a reservation and they made an effort to find us a table. I would definitely recommend placing a reservation in advance however. The place has an authentic wood oven and pizzas are made fresh right next to the oven in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend one of the pizzas, otherwise one of their seafood pastas. I noticed many visually pleasing desserts but we were simply too full by the end.

I’m beginning to realize that it might be a good idea to include a time-of-year perspective when reading (and writing) TripAdvisor reviews. And when it comes to restaurants, acknowledge the fact that people have different tastes and concepts of what is expensive and what is not.Having read some of the unfavorable reviews for Ristorante Corbezzolo, I suspect that some of the criticism may be related to peak tourist season, when the chances of mishaps in the kitchen increase simply because of the inevitable rush in popular restaurants. We came a bit off-season (beginning of June) and we almost didn’t go because of the bad and lukewarm reviews. But we happen to love lamb, and the Corbezzolo had two lamb dishes on the menu that looked promising, so we decided to give it a chance. I’m so glad we did. As a matter of fact, we liked it so much that we returned the next night for yet another meal, our last dinner in Sardinia before returning home. Previously, I have only given one restaurant a five star rating but this one deserves it.Location: A two minute walk away from and slightly above the piazza where all the other restaurants fight for your attention and with a lovely view of the Mediterranean if you get a table on the upper floor terrace. Hard to beat. Staff: Very professional, with just the right amount of personality sprinkled over as topping. The level of skill was amazing, especially considering that our waitresses both nights were very young girls.Food: What can I say? The first night my wife had I Chiusoni, Gallura-region dumplings with lamb ragout and a huge side salad. I chose Sardinian lamb in pistachio crust, pecorino cheese fondue and confit tomatoes with a Melanzane side (description of both dishes taken straight from the restaurant’s menu, even if I took the liberty of correcting a mishap in the spelling so no one would get the idea that they would be served Sardinian lamp). Both were cooked to perfection, and the kitchen skills proved to be just as excellent on our return visit, when I had the lamb ragout and salad and my wife got a chance to try the Melanzane along with sliced beef with rocket, confit tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Prices, both for food and wine (local, by the glass, in our case) are on the high side compared to e.g. Sicily, and perhaps a bit higher than what is typical for Emerald Coast Sardinia, but value for your money at the Corbezzolo is definitely a factor in the five star rating. Eating, drinking and trying out local cuisine is to us an important factor in what makes travelling enjoyable, and this was the peak of our Sardinian food experience.

Easy going food , serving the masses on the main square.Food and prices are reasonable. We’ve eaten here a few times, and it’s great for pasta and pizza dishes. The location makes it an easy drop in place. The only negative point , is that when they are busy and they often are, service seems to be disorganised. Two managers organise a table , lots of waiters and waitresses working hard delivering food and clearing the tables, but only 2 guys taking the orders. On one occasion we waited over 20 minutes just to get a drink and order food.In their defence the order arrived within 15 minutes and was tasty and enjoyable. It’s just when they are full, order and organisation slips.
