I visited with the family on arrival as it was close to our hotel, we went early at 7.30 pm and was the only table but by the time we ordered and received our starters the place was nearly full. The food is typical for the region, good quality and decent portions. The owner who was also serving was extremely helpful. We ended going there again on our last day and tried the Pizza's. I definitely recommend this place, very good Pizza's, Pasta and mouth watering Desert , all is reasonably priced. Suggest you give it a visit if you are in the area.

We came here for Sunday lunch early September. We enjoyed the food - which included donkey stew - and service. Prices were reasonable too. Our two-year old had a happy couple of hours playing on the terrace, it wasn't very busy. Very happy to recommend Garten!

Can really recommend the place as we went there twice. The waitress speaks good Englisch and is really friendly. Pizza is great and prices are good as well.

Very good food in a peaceful ambiance of a garden. Really family-owned and family-run restaurant. Difficult to find a place on friday - local people are aware of its qualities and gather there well before dinner time. Portions are big, fish and pasta are great!

We were here with friends last night to enjoy some good steaks. The place is in fact the offspring of a butchery. We let the waiter persuade us to try a bit of everything, promising not to exaggerate. Well, he didn't to be fair but I was not impressed by the quality of the meat and by the fact that it arrived to the table quite cold and rather overcooked for my taste (I had specifically asked for rare meat). The place is nice and had a good atmosphere; service was polite. I thought the bill excessive condidering what we had. Not sure I'll be back.

We (4) enjoyed our typical Valderice meal at Sfizi. We followed the server's suggestions of a seafood appetizer plate and 2 seafood pasta dishes using their unique spiral pasta. The other diners chose the inhouse pasta with a wild boar sauce. All of the seafood was fresh and beautifully prepared. The server gets top marks as the best we have encountered on our trip to Sicily so far.

This restaurant is a true gem. We tried it for dinner last Monday night, and ended up eating here three times during our week in Sicily. The staff are friendly and caring, and the food is spectacular. We had mixed antipasti each time, oysters, grilled and fried fish, and a variety of pastas and a salad. Everything is prepared with great care. The ingredients are high quality, too. The waiter is charming and funny. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Even when they were very busy on Good Friday, everyone had a smile and took the time to please every customer in the house.By the end of the week, we felt like old friends. When we sadly said our last goodbye, the owner blessed us with a bag of his garlic to remember the great dinners.
