We ate there one evening, we took some fried calamari, burrata with jam, straccetti di manzo. The stracetti were very good the fried calamari very salty and not fresh, the burrata average. The big minus for me was the smell from the kitchen very present in the restaurant, practically all our clothes were smelling like fried oil when we left.

This is a simple pizza joint, catering perhaps more to locals that to tourists, where one can have very good yet inexpensive pizzas. Beverages (bottled beers included) too are cheap and not overpriced like in more upscale places. We had pizzas also in other restaurants in the area, but this was by far the best. The owners and the waiters are very nice and friendly. I can highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone.

During our holidays we had dinner here twice, because we loved it so much .The Risorante La Ficarigna is located on a side street just outside of the historic center of Specchia, with parking space by the side of the road.The restaurant is large, the decor is kitsch. There is outside seating but we preferred to sit inside as there were some mosquitoes. They serve South Italian food at its best. All dishes cooked in the most special and uncomplicated way you can possibly imagine, simple but outstanding. It was perfection based on local produce cooked with passion and skill.We didn't have the pasta flambe but saw how they prepared it next table. We had sauteed cozze, the tomino, orecchiette, pasta Pescatora and the Fanatasia. My favourite was the Salentina, delicious maccheroni with yellow tomato sauce and Burrata... heavenly! Service was very friendly and attentive.Highly recommended!

This family run place is above expectations in all aspects. The details are authentic and talking quality, let it be about the outstanding food made by chef Mauro, the attentive service or the decoration dressed by the owner's wife. Worth to visit if you are in Puglia!

Came here for lunch as not much else was open. Plastic plates, tiny portions, badly mixed drinks. Also really overpriced for what it is. All in all, this place is best avoided.Sicuramente ha sbagliato posto, noi non vendiamo bevande mescolate ma solo vini e birra.... Ci dispiace tanto x lei. Almeno che non sei il solito idiota che da tempo cerca disperatamente di danneggiare i nostri punteggi scrivendo recensioni negative. Ti avvisiamo che ormai sappiamo quasi con certezza chi sei.... It's a very nice restaurant, with the tables directly in a narrow street. The atmosfere overnight it's amazing.The food is good: particularly the typical starters, mostly vegetarin bud very very copious and tasty. The service is really poor due to the understaffed and not profession staff.

Per gli amanti delle pucce e delle insalatone questo locale è una tappa doverosa. Ambiente curato, personale gentile. Meravigliosa la formula di scegliere tu cosa poter mettere nel tuo panino. E la vera chicca è il caffè in moka. Davvero consigliato.

Weren't twice and tried everything possible including the Japanese Kobe which left is speechless. In fact any meat on the menu is of top level and finely cooked. No doubt the best meet restaurant in my all life. Service was very kind, the owner is very knowledgeable about meat and can give the right suggestions. Even the kid's menu was great! Can't wait to go back!
