We were sent here on our first night of our holiday. It was just what we wanted - friendly, authentic food, variety, cheap! We were welcomed by the daughter of the family who speaks English and was excited to practice her skills with us. She talked us through the menu and we ordered pasta, mixed grilled seafood and a generous salad. We have been back since and are going back tonight for a pizza by the metre! Friendly atmosphere, good wine, great food and a local presence which is nice as we don't like to be in the tourist hotspots.

There's just few words to explain the cousine of this little gem run by a young entrepreneur and his resident chef...a Rainbow of Taste!! Folie restaurant has the numbers to became soon a must visit site for all the people who loves food with an artistic twist. Antonio Raffaele resident Chef, Sommelier and Pastry Chef of the Folie will take you on a Rollercoaster of tasting joy for the palate. The degustation menu is a trip of Salento's best products, all the dishes are superbly presented and the taste it's just a blow of sensations! The service of the Staff very attentive and the host Giovanni always very pleasant. The menu a la carte is very well structured and the wine list offer a great choice of the best that Italy and France can offer. At the end of your dinner you realize that three hours have just pass by tasting amazing food and great company and the cost of it nothing compare with the quality of food and service. This restaurant has been open just few months but had gain already the attention who deserve it, remember the name of Folie and his Chef Antonio Raffaele I bet that the way to the first Star Michelin is just around the corner. See you soon again!!

We ate at this restaurant at lunch time. It was nice for the owner to open only for us on a Sunday ( booked ahead of time) Food is definitely genuine and home made. Price/Quality has an acceptable ratio. All appetizers were delicious. First dishes were acceptable and second dishes were ok. I suggest appetizers only and eventually add on a second dish is you still have space. Service can improve definitely. Grazie per aver scelto il nostro ristorante e per aver gradito la nostra Cucina Salentina . Terrace service impeccable. Primitivo Manduria red - excellent value. Antipasto sharing board - some outstandingly tasty pieces; good chacuterie; but one or two odd or doughy pieces. Pizza fillings good and tasty, but unfortunately the mushroom load on one generated a lot of moisture which spoiled the crunch. Also has a great passing parade of all ages. A most enjoyable 4++ evening.

An amazing restaurant, it exceeded my expectations! I went at Gusto Divino with my mates for a late "aperitivo" yesterday and I left so happy! Professional service throughout the evening, you can barely find that kind of attentiveness in Salento. We've tried the majority of antipasti and a couple of mains and we were amazed by the quality and presentation of the food.Loved the "sfogliatina" dessert!You won't leave the restaurant starving and the prices are more than reasonable.Thank you Signor Maurizio for the enjoyable evening!Thank you so much for the compliments Mrs. Emanuela , when he wants to come back and visit her she is welcome.

A lovely friendly family run restaurant that serves very good food. We were recommended this place by our hosts and had a fantastic meal on more than one occasion. Although we had English/Italian Language communication problems we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals there(3). This place is very popular with the locals and you can see why. The food is good, wholesome, tasty Italian fare at a very reasonable price served by the friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Friendly warn welcome awaits, fun local restaurant (which is a bakery during the day). Comfortable modern interior with some amusing quirky additions. Food is excellent. we had a mixed ceviche platter to begin and pasta for mains. There are some excellent deserts on display, presumably made by the bakery during the day, which are well worth leaving room for! Excellent wine recommendations.
