After a wonderful week in Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende, our flight was cancelled and we were sent to the Holiday Inn. Not much choice in the area in terms of restaurants but Albahaca was highly recommended by the flight crew.We were fortunate to carry in our luggage a great bottle of wine from Cuna de Tierra which we shamelessly brought to this small highway joint. Service was impeccable as Carlos our server had all the attributes of a fine dining Maître Dâ. I am in the business and would higher him in a minute. Thus the high rating. The food was as you would imagine, though I must say the pizza wasnât bad. Truth is there isnât anything better in the area so if you ever become stranded as we did, make sure you visit Albahaca and enjoy the company of Carlos.

I traveled here during my week long visit to Silao for work and very much enjoyed the food. The service was very quick and attentive and the pasta I had was delicious. If you are looking for a nice hole in the wall italian restaurant in Mexico check this place out!

La verdad no entiendo por que tiene tanta gente en lo personal la comida no tiene sazon en lo personal no me gusto y el trato del personal pésimo y el lugar sucio.
