What a wonderful find as we made our way back from chertsey station to our campsite . The food was superb , I had spaghetti dello chef which was full of delicious, very fresh prawns , mussels and squid combined in a rich tomato sauce . My husbands tagliatelle gamberetti was equally good. We couldnât manage a dessert being too full. Would definitely recommend

Five family adults for a relaxed dinner on a Saturday evening. Five main courses (varying in price from £11.95 to £16.25), mixed olives £3.25, bread £3.95, two small sparkling waters 2 x £2.95, one Tiramisu £3.00, a bottle of Valpolicella £21.00, 1 (well received) Espresso Martini cocktail £7.95, 1 tea £2.35 and 1 double Macchiato £2.50 = a total of £122.25 plus tip of my choice. All the food was was fine but not outstanding. The service was well meaning but a little disjointed. Fairly noisy restaurant (to which our chatter added), probably the inevitable product of too many hard surfaces. Would have liked to see large bottles of sparkling and still water on offer. What a brilliant authentic Italian restaurant. Great menu and we loved all the dishes we ordered. The mixed seafood with spaghetti served in foil was delicious as was the veal parmiganio. My wife loves lasagne and she certainly wasn't disappointed. We were looked after well by the manager Tony who couldn't have been more helpful. Sadly the San Marco is just off the main shopping area and this may put people ofd .. if so they should reconsider. We will certainly return as will some of our friends who also speak highly of this restaurant.

Went for a family birthday meal.The service was very slow, waited ages for drinks.Ordered lobster linguine of the special menu, at £25, I had 2 small pieces of lobster in the linguine as did another member of the family, I didn't eat much & when I commented to the waiter, I was told I should have said before I had eaten it.was I supposed to hunt through the linguine to count the lobster when it arrived! Very expensive lobster!The waiter was quite rude.Have been here before so was very dissapointed.Won't be back.

We were booked in for a birthday party When we arrived received a warm & friendly welcome from MattOur orders were taken quickly and promptly. The banter was flowing great between ourselves and MattHowever the Manager & the blonde girl behind the bar seemed miserable and very moody, they took ages to sort our drinksWhile matt was run of his feet with other tables the other 2 staff looked like were doing nothing and standing around.Matt was defiantly the life and soul of the place and always had a smile on his face We were there a while and not once did we receive any positive service from the other two staff working Matt was quick with the food orders and had them out in next to no time Once again all on his own as the others stood around moaning and looking moody. If it wasnt for Matt we would of defiantly got up and left He worked his socks off Thank you Matt for making our day a great one. 5 out of 5 for you and your work rate X

I had eaten one lunchtime at Valentina about a year ago. I'm not local so myself and a friend just stumbled across it when staying nearby at the Brooklands hotel. Last week was an ideal opportunity to try it out in the evening.The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our waiter was very enthusiastic in explaining some of the regional dishes when we asked him. My only niggle was that there had been a service charge added. OK, it was optional but I hate being told how much of a tip to give. In the end, we crossed out the "suggested" service charge and left a smaller, yet in our opinion still suitable tip.Dear lillibet12309,Thank you for taking the time in sharing your feedback. We returned to visit Cafe Capriccio as it was my sisterâs birthday and itâs one of her favourite restaurants.The menu offers good quality Italian food at reasonable prices, staff are always friendly, courteous and polite.Another very enjoyable experience, food quality is excellent.

I'd wanted to visit here for ages, always driving past - seeing how popular/busy it is. Finally we went for a little weekday treat, and wow we were not disappointed! Outstanding service, delicious food, great wine. Our sharing starter was so good, it looked amazing too! The Specials all sounded so good, we wanted to have them all! My husband had the risotto that was on the Specials board, it was so good! I had the Rigatoni on the Mains menu and that was pretty yummy too. A truly lovely meal and we'll definitely be returning soon!

I have to say this is probably the best service we have had anywhere. Servers very helpful, always available. Top marks.Food was good although we thought a bit average, maybe we were expecting more after reading other reviews. I had Panzerotto (deep fried Calzone) but found the filling not evenly spread within it. Wife had Pizza and thought Prezzo's were better.We would have a pasta dish next time.

We really enjoyed our first (and certainly not last) visit to this restaurant in the centre of Walton on Thames. It was busy on a Friday lunchtime and we could see why.There was an impressive range of dishes on the menu. We received a warm welcome. My veal with mushrooms was excellent and my wife said that her calves liver was top notch.We will return...and soon
