We visited this bar on two occasions whilst visiting Shenyang. I have to say that we were welcomed by a happy smiling face and in addition the food was delicious at a very good price. Just a pity we did not find this establishment early than we did, two nights before we left for home. I highly recommend that this bar is visited if you are in the area.

Very nice owner from Austria. Very clean establishment in an upscale mall. The pizza Quattro formaggi was good as also the Pizza Diablo. Attentive staff. A must for westerners living in Shenyang.

Very Good Pizza, Noodles and Salad, very good selection of italian food in general. Some things are a little bit Chinese Style, but the overall taste comes close to food in Italy. Food is deliverd very fast to the table, but the sequence is totaly chaotic, could be you get first you Pizza, then your starters, the salad and at the the far end the noodles. This they have to improve, that there is a certain order for delivering the food. Disadvantage of the location, parking terrible and the retaurent is very crowded, you've to take a number to line up. Additonally they don't take reservations after 17:30. So with more then 4 or 6 people you should be there very early. Cost around 80 to 100RMB per person, incl. Softdrink.

For the best Italian food in Shenyang everyone should beat a path to Taverna Vigna. We started visiting this excellent restaurant recently and it has not disappointed us. The first time I went was a solo trip and I ordered the gnocchi which was the best I've had since visiting Italy some months before. The 2nd time I took my wife there for a special occasion and she fell in love with it as much as I did. We ordered a special cheese and parma ham platter, the bruschetta (excellent and not over done with balsamic), the lamb chops for my wife (best in Shenyang in our opinion) and I ordered a really tasty pizza (ham, mushrooms, garlic and artichoke hearts). We also ordered a glass of red and white wine with our meal. Excellent restaurant which the owner has opened a 2nd near the Black Sheep. The only problem we had was with the server whose English was non existent. We are usually pretty good at using some Chinese, a translator app, and some English in ordering but this poor girl didn't understand and had to have help from another server. Maybe she was new but we did get everything we ordered finally. On the whole a big thumbs up and a place to eat authentic and excellent Italian cuisine.

The pizzas are good but don't expect to be wow. The cheese pizza needed to have tomato sauce on the base. The atmosphere is like a fast food restaurant, not really welcoming. The owners don't seem really friendly towards other foreigners. The menus aren't really nice to look at and to be handled... The so called Spanish bake beans are oversized for the portion that is given.

Received some of the best service at Il Forno and the bar next door called Fa'r. Great choices to fit most budgets, impressive wine lists, and a warm ambience. The gnocchi is delicious, and the buffet puts out a great spread. Keep it up guys! A favorite among expats here in Shenyang. Good quality food. One of my favorites is the eggplant chicken Parmesan. Donât forget to order the friend jalapeño, pasta & cheese balls. Note: When using DiDi to get there, type in Italy Back Mutton Western Restaurant.
