Called in on the off chance of a table with my wife and were fortunate they had a table free until later that eveningThe wine list is comprehensive and reasonably pricedI went for a mid priced white which was very niceThe whole dining experience from start to finish was excellent, as was the service during our visit, the food was well presented, perfect temperature and a delight I had the crab and cray fish linguine which was stunning and full of flavourFirst visit but will certainly not be our last 5 star throughout

Pop in lovley pizza cafe as usual at evening and asked for a table the lady who i seen for the first time there with red short hair come to me and i asked for a table as always she shows the middle table with not any smile even as i look for some corner i asked if there is any chance to get another table and she says NO in a very rude way which's shows how rasism she was, i just turned my way and will never go back while she is working there!Thank you for taking the time to write us a review.I am really sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the service you received on this visit. It is my understanding that on this occasion, the larger tables were reserved. I am very sorry that this wasn't explained to you and that you felt you were treated rudely. Visited Saturday 28th for an early evening meal with family. Staff were charming and very accommodating. Food was lovely particularly the prawn pasta and my hhusband's pizza. The only slight gripe is that the cheapest bottle of wine was â¬22.Will return though.

Great little cafe restaurant in Dawlish town. A bit off the beaten track for the tourists who seem to be a few miles down the road in Dawlish Warren, but great for locals and tourists who want to get the bus, train or just drive to explore the area. The menu is a bit thinned out of late with their once legendary burger menu cut down to just three (beer, chicken and veggie) with a couple of optional toppings. I'm not a massive fan of their latest wine menu either which has been cheapened considerably from some of the fantastic wines they once sold. Get the burgers and wine back on form and you're a solid 5* all day long. PS, they do amazing homemade pizzas tooHello, Thankyou for choosing to dine with us at Jack Sprats, We made the decision to cut down the burger menu as not all of them were popular, we have left the optional toppings as these are the ones that were popular on the old menu. We also tweaked the wine menu as our suppliers stopped selling some of the wines that were on the old wine menu and we could no longer get hold of them, we have also had to keep our prices competitive, We hope to see you again soon ! We had heard really good things about Frescoes and had found it difficult to book in despite several attempts.Finally we managed it for a celebration of a significant birthday and everything we had heard was confirmed plus some.The food id superb and the staff ultra helpful and friendly it is a wonderful experience.We started with pizza bread with rosemary and olives in a wonderful dressing of oil.Our starters were caprese salads and a beetroot and Gorgonzola salad. Both were excellent.The girls then had lobster with a truly amazing pasta, I know because I got to taste it ., and I had their beautiful spaghetti bolognese.For dessert we had al foggata and maringta both of which were delicious.There is a wide alcoholic and soft drinks menu including a 0.0 peroni which I had, the girls having Prosecco.The whole experience was fantastic and we will certainly be returning if we can get in as we live locally.This is a MUST visit if in Teignmouth or the surrounding areas.Superb evening Thank you !!!!
