It started so well. Deep fried polenta was served with the wine. The fresh pasta with pesto was very good. And then the kitchen messed up. You can't cook chewy meet the same way as tender meet. Raw steak doesn't get any closer to medium by charcoaling the surface. And the mixed grilled seafood was tasteless.Probabilmente non conosce e non capisce la cucina italiana. La carne va servita così. Se la cottura non era di suo gradimento poteva dirlo. Siamo stati tutti gentili e premurosi nei suoi confronti, trattandola benissimo. Non capiamo l'astio di questa recensione. Buon ritorno in Norvegia!

We had pre-dinner drinks and dinner here. My cocktail was amazing and they serve appetizers included with the drinks (an Italian tradition). My husband had the Wednesday special dinner which he really liked. You usually have to pre-order this so if you plan on going there check first. I had some great gnocchi. The ambiance is nice and the prices very reasonable for the quality/ service.

Lovely setting very quite intimate place.Prices not to bad for the area. Quality of food is good. Lots of choices. English spoken waitress. My only issue is a service charge of 2.50 euro per person but this is the norm in most restaurants in the area.I would recommend this restaurant and return

Canât praise this place enough for a quick lunch. Once weâd eaten here our kids wouldnât have lunch anywhere else. You buy the pizza by the slice, thereâs different toppings to choose each day then either eat in or take away. All at a very reasonable price.

Great location on one of the calmer slopes in the Sestriere area. Great terrace with a view of the mountains. Also there is rarely wind on the outside seating area, so perfect location on a sunny day :). Great selection of food both for kids and adults, also wide variety of beverages. I'd recommend the local food, for example the 6 or 7 variations of the Piemontesee Polenta. Another good thing is that the toilet is not downstairs - which makes it easily accessible for all, especially for skiiers (due to their heavyduty boots). One of my favourite places in the area!

The restaurant's ceiling is a series of brick domes which adds to the atmosphere. The building must have served a different purpose years ago, as the brick work is old.Food was good quality and had a mid-range price. You will need to book on a Friday and Saturday night as 'locals' visit the resort for a weekend ski and the restaurant is heaving. Any other night, no need to book.

This is a very popular restaurant in Sestriere usually needs a reservation. Although the food was very good we were a little disappointed. Excellent meat for the main course but all potatoes and vegetables are expensive extras. Service of good quality and very quaint dining room.

Very nice location in a little renovated "Borgo" near Sestriere. The restaurant is small but very nicely decorated in a typical mountain style.Food is very good, also original dishes including typical ones from the area.Very good wine selection too.Price are reasonable.The only minus is the road to get to the restaurant, narrow and dark in the middle of the countryside with almost NO indications for the restaurant....also when you get to the little village there is no direction for the restaurant.

Visited restaurant as a group of 5 friends. Lovely welcome from staff. Cosy restaurant, not big and you need to reserve a table in advance as very popular. Nice choice of local specialities including raclette, fondue and others. You choose your main and they bring you an appetiser and starter of their making. It was all delicious.
