A bit anonymous, tucked on the side of major highway alongside the Lago Maggiore coast, it offers however a decent size parking facility which makes this place suitable for family or large groups reunions. The dining hall is comfortable with a rustic wall decor and decent seating arrangements. The service seems a bit uncertain, but the recommendation is to let Elena, the cook, to recommend what is good and in season. The antipasti mix is surprisingly well assorted with unique dishes, such as the stuffed zucchini in gorgonzola sauce, or the cabbage "spaghetti" with arugula sauce. Interesting item is the fresh porcini mushroom "fagottino", a sort of mushroom bruschetta, artistically and colorfully wrapped. As we were there for a porcini mushroom dinner, we continued with a porcini risotto. The risotto texture was about right, with a superlative taste. One slightly negative note was the amount of oil and butter used in the preparations. I will be definitely go back for a second visit, but will bring a generous dose of Alka Seltzer along. The wine list is sufficient, but not spectacular. We had a bottle of Teroldego which paired the taste of mushrooms quite well. Desserts are homemade only on Thursdays and likely last for the whole weekend. Price is OK.

We have truly enjoyed the evening. Food was outstanding with a few dishes that I have never tried before. We started with selection of antipasti and basically we could have stopped there. Wide variety of starters. We had risotto tartuffo e parmigiana which was super good. Bistecca fiorentina was definitely up to my husband's very demanding standards (he originates from Toscana).I have warned restaurant we have person who is celiac therefore would need gluten free alternatives. We were also served gluten free variation of antipasti.Service was excellent too. Very attentive and anticipating all our needs.Very enjoyable evening. Still digesting our feast and might skip on a meal or two today to enable my tummy to digest the feast of yesterday. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is very popular and booking essential. Time should be left to find a car-parking space as well!The view is towards the east over Lake Maggiore. Service was attentive and the locally made breads were excellent. The octopus leg was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The raviolis were good as a secundi. The main tempura vegetable and fish dish was huge and the tempura slightly on the thick side. The other main course was slightly under-seasoned for my taste.A pleasant evening as acouple enjoying nice food on the lakeside

My Girlfriend and I just had the best Food in Italy! As an Appetizer we shared the Mixed Fish plate which was Outstanding! Fish with balsamic and fresh strawberry, tunasalat with pine nuts, shrimps with gingerlemon gravy, mixed seafood with fruits and orange sauce. Very good! The very friendly waitress (perfect service) recommend the homemade chocolate Ravioli with a Mozerella filling and a ginger herbs and lemon gravy. OMG! DELICIOUS! At first I was skeptical about the order. But the moment I tried the Ravioli I had no doubt anymore. My Girlfriend had Pennepasta with vegetable which was also delicious.Afterwards we spilt 2 desserts. Cheesecake with Pistachio and Macha Crepes. Both outstanding. recommend The Pistachio Cheesecake (see Foto).The menu is all Italien and the Waitress speeks english so she translated everybit for us. Always a smile on her Face! ;-)The chefcook came out of the kitchen and explained everything on the plates in Italien. Which was so sweet becouse we don't speak any but somehow we were able to understand everything!I dont get the bad review. Must be haters or the compilation.Becouse by far this place serves food made with passion and love!We had a Awesome time in there and will definitely visit again!

We stopped by La Bruma a week ago for lunch. It was a beautiful day and the terrace was bustling; consequently, service was a bit slow, albeit professional enough. We sat next to a table that looked like it might be dirty, but had a tablecloth draped over it.I ordered entrecote, which was served lukewarm with roasted potatoes and was a little bit gristly. I got the sense that it sat for a few minutes before it reached the table, which isn't unexpected given how busy the waitress was. My husband had a salmon dish with cauliflower mayonnaise that he enjoyed, although he said it was a bit salty. Bread was brought out, but it didn't not appear to be homemade. We did enjoy a lovely bottle of wine and our desserts were excellent. I had a chocolate souffle and my husband had what appeared to be a deconstructed cheesecake in a glass.I noticed a couple of people having spaghetti and I kind of wished I'd ordered that. It looked very good. All in all, it wasn't a terrible experience, but there was some room for improvement. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, though.

Honestly, from outside you can see nothing other than a backyard of any medium class house. but when you get into the restaurant, you will discover a very nice and comfortable place. Food was great. We have taken the daily menu, two courses, desert and coffee..... and wine, and everything was included in the price and really very cheap.I will definitely come back if I am around this lovely town.

Lovely location and excellent staff. The complementary prosecco started the meal nicely and was followed by a really great amuse bouche of a vegetable custard. The risotti both of us enjoyed were with asparagus tips and with shrimp and nettles. The risotto was perfectly cooked and delicious. The grilled mixed seafood was ok, but not as good as the prior dishes suggested was coming. Likewise the steak, while perfectly cooked to temperature, was under-seasoned (needed a lot of salt and pepper). The potatoes also lacked salt / flavor. The mixed salad was ok. Wine selection was good and reasonably priced. Service was great throughout. Total for two, with wine (â¬18), water and cover was â¬87.

We came here tonight whilst on a 10'day cycle tour of the lakes. It was the best pizza we had during the whole 10 days. A very local restaurant, serving mostly pizzas and a few other dishes. A great place to go if you want to sample village life. Good staff and excellent value for money.The toilets were also very clean.

I have been hearing about this place for a few months now so we have decided to test it out. We had family sunday lunch with small birthday celebration.The menu was excellent offering good variety of dishes. Not too many dishes as I get suspicious whether products are fresh. It has offered a diverse choice suitable to all tastes and the products were certainly fresh and carefully selected. The wine choice was also very good (pity I was designated driver but my husband has indulged).The highlight was maialino dish; very tender and juicy. Compliments to the chef.We had three/four course meal at very reasonable price. Superior quality, lovely interior and super nice service. It was our first visit but certainly not the last. We loved it :-)Thank you! Sorry for my bad english but i desire to answer you.
