Deklicious- after eating great pasta in Italy - it is impossible to eat pasta anywhere else. Lovely soup with handmade pasta containing meat, great pastas and meats- a true delight. Always end up eating too much!

Sono stata in questo locale con una collega per un pranzo veloce e quindi preso un piatto unico e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato bene sono stati veloci e soprattutto cordiali e gentili come mai capitato. Purtroppo non ho mai avuto occasione di cenare alla carta per provare i loro piatti di cui tutti mi parlano bene ma spero di poterlo fare presto per poter dare un giudizio adeguato sulle portate. Locale molto ordinato e pulito.

Il truciolo is about 15 km outside Bologna. For this reason I think that they have never seen a tourist eating there. Consequently, they have to keep high quality standards to attract customers. The restaurant has a genuine and vintage atmosphere. We ate starters and pasta. Everything was very tasty, I liked polenta with egg and black truffle and gramigna with salsiccia.I will go back there and eventually bring friends. There is no menu, the boss comes and tells you the dishes of the day. You do not know the price, but again it garantees you that you will eat only daily prepared dishes.A bit expensive, however, you will find the same prices in the city center of Bologna.

Just a short drive north of Bologna, in a brick vaulted dining room, formerly a convent, the food at Osteria del Melo was exquisite. A little cake of aubergine layered with mozzarella and tomato, followed by strips of succulent and crispy pork fillet. Leave room for the fabulous deserts, like meringue with chocolate zabaglione.Wonderful warm Service. Excellent Value. Not to be missed. Worth a detour from Bologna.

Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with group of 8. The chef took care of everything when we arrived - selecting wine pairings to carry from starter through dessert and surprising us with each course of the "house" specialty that night. Delicious! From the antipasti and riccota crostini to the fresh al dente pasta and rosemary veal, everything was absolutely wonderful. We closed with a taste of Nocino Delle Streghe, a sweet and dark liqueur made from walnuts in the region. Highly recommend.
