Situated in the centre of the picturesque town of Bradford on Avon,by the bridge and with public parking close bye. We took our teenage grand daughter for a special birthday meal. This is the first time we have visited since there was new owners some couple of years ago. To be honest there is nothing but positive things to say about our experience. Welcoming, attentive service,lovely atmosphere and a varied menu.. We had booked a table for 6.30 and were surprised how many tables had already been taken up. Nevertheless our food was served hot without delay and we felt the whole experience was most enjoyable. We felt the meal was good value for the quality we had.. Good selection of wine also. The only regret was that we did not have enough room for a dessert !! Thoroughly recommended and we will return.

Simple, home made (not just home cooked) food. Good wine, decently priced. Excellent espresso coffee. Reasonably priced. Wonderful views over the Avon river, with more or less guaranteed kingfisher spotting. We had lasagne, spaghetti pomodoro, tiramisu. Simple, not too much, delicious. We will keep coming when weâve time passing through.

Went here for a meal while staying in Bradford on Avon. We both had pizza although there were many other Italian dishes. Beautifully cooked with great side salad. The atmosphere was very friendly and the place was quite busy especially for early evening. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a family of four nearby and wanted to have an Italian meal as itâs our favourite. We popped in to look at the menu as we passed by, the owners were so friendly and accommodating so we went on to book a table for that night. The food was really nice; we all had pizzas and they were so tasty and we thought were authentic Italian having been to Italy many times. We wouldnât hesitate to recommend and would definitely dine there again if staying close by. Thank you so much! Thank you very much for the lovely review:) what a beautiful family you were and we were delighted to meet you all.Unfortunately as we were very busy at the restaurant so I could not chat with you as much I wanted that evening. Finding no where to eat after 2.00pm Mother and Wild said they would be serving food at 5.O0. The young lady at reception was so very helpful and the restaurant looked interesting we decided to have a very late/ early lunch/dinner. So glad we did. All the staff were very pleasant, the restaurant had several eating areas, mainly filled with younger people. I rarely eat pizza but this time it was impossible not to it, it looked so inviting. A ham hock starter for my husband and a pork and fennel ragu for me were excellent. The pizza was for my husband but I just had to share, the best I have had ever, outside Florence! Thank you

We all enjoyed our meals, especially the calamari ,tasty lasagna, vesuvio pizza and tiramisu. The service was friendly and the food very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

I avoid ready meals at all costs but these meals are absolutely delicious! A real treat and homely cooked food with beautiful fresh ingredients which can be cooked from frozen. The portion was perfect, filling and crammed with big chunks of tender beef, shallots, carrots in a silky, tasty sauce! I will be back for more. Well done and Thank You!What a great start to our weeks cooking to read your lovely comments! Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know. No, I'm not referring to the owner (although, to be fair he's not that heavy). I am, in fact addressing the qualities of the incredible, delicious omelettes served in this amazing eatery. Our meal was concluded with two distinctly desserts in the form of Coconut Gateau and a mind blowing, authentic cannolo siciliano and italian cappucino. Has to be tried to understand this top quality fare.

What a fabulous place this is. We had a booking at 9:15 and arrived to an already packed restuarant that people did not want to leave. We waited until our table was free and it was worth the wait, especially with some complimentary drinks and nibbles. We were not forced to hurry and the 11 of us thoroughly enjoyed the starters and mains.The staff were excellent and even went out of their way to do 2 trips to take us back to the Hotel. What a marvelous touch. I cannot praise this place highly enough and certainly will be back again. All food 10/10 Staff 10/10. My wife and I popped in here Tuesday - steak night, two steaks for 29.95 the steak was quite probably one of the best I have ever tasted, served with salad chips and vegetables and choice of sauce, all excellent, service was excellent, nice surroundings, we shared a starter and sweet, including drinks for two. £52 excellent value, we live locally so we will be returning to try their Italian food.
