I definitely come to this place on my visit to manali. Situated just beside the river, has great ambience. Sitting area is open as well as indoor. Food is yum and affordable. They serve north Indian chinese and continental, there menu has variety without compromising taste. They ever have bakery of there own. If you love exploring new places and done or don't want to visit overcrowded places you can definitely pay a visit here.

Tasty dishes made with good quality ingredients.I tried the musaka and it had nothing to do with a Greek musaka but was delicious anyway. It was a really small portion though, specially if compared to other dishes they have (biryany portions are huge).

If you are a foody, look no further! Best lasagne of my life. I tried both the vegan spinach option as well as the sundried tomato & mushroom with local asiago cheese. Both were outstanding. Comes with fresh salad and tasty homemade garlic bread. Renaissance exudes a warm, shanti ambience with cozy seating,calming music, and friendly staff. Access to this place is through a narrow suspended bridge, which is tough. Good food. Motorcycle-theme based restaurant is well-designed. Even the flooring is asphalted with lane markings. Now, we are ready to check out as already informed the attendant. Not a soul is seen in the property, which is left unguarded. We are the only people in this property now. Phones are either switched off or not reachable. Our time is wasted while we are starved. We are not able to pay our bills and quit. Very bad experience. Perhaps, this is the special treatment meted out to us, the senior citizens. I am reducing the rating to a single star as I can't give anything below.

We came here because of the recommendation. But actually the servise was not so good and they extra charged us for service. A very charming placeBeautifully done up..a vegetarian place.We ordered their signature pizza ..a nice thin crust wholesome delicious pizza..just a warning...don't add the hot chilli olive oil since the pizza was quite hot by itself..quite flavourful . Their bruschetta was also delicious!Unfortunately their fireplace was not in working order and somehow no music was playing..Thank you for taking the time to write back to us. We are glad you enjoyed the food. Very sorry about the non working stove and no music.

I had the tortelloni (lamb ragu inside, accompanied by light tomato sauce and thick sheared pieces of cheese and some leafy basil), which was easily the best western pasta dish this reviewer ever had in India. Service was professional, with bar menu on offer (cocktails, mocktails, etc.), which makes it feel very much like a western restaurant (but with Indian dishes on offer too). Note that if you are looking for both the restaurant AND the hotel, there are TWO Johnson establishments (right next to each other but divided by a garden / lot wall; walk out the lobby of each for 20 meters and you will be in the other place), each with its own restaurant. This Bar & Restaurant is with the Johnson LODGE. The Cafe is with the Johnson HOTEL. The location, food, and service were impeccable. The sitting arrangement was also very good. We tried a wood oven pizza and we went after lunch and thought we won't be able to finish it. but the pizza was so delectable that we couldn't stop ourself from overeating.
