We chose this place for lunch as it looked nice inside, we were well out of season and everywhere was dead, maybe the only 2 people looking for lunch at the port. I told the lady serving that I need gluten free, she said no problem and suggested scalopina, I checked again "senza glutine" yes she said However when it arrived it was covered in breadcrumbs, I said I couldn't eat it as it was bread, she said that it wasn't bread it was senza glutine, I said no its breadcrumbs, she didn't seem to believe me so she went to get the box that they used to coat the meat, yes, it said breadcrumbs. She agreed to change it for a beefsteak which was overlooked but ok, but they served me the same French fries still covered in the ketchup and mayo that was served along with them, but had been re-fried, I also had lots of new mayo and ketchup which I didn't want. My friend had mixed sea food grilled which again was ok, over cooked but ok. The house white wine is not great so we tried a Sicilian white, it was virtually tasteless So all in all not a great experience, the lady was nice the service was ok otherwise I would have given only 1 star. Maybe it's better when the port is busy.

We have been going to Le Casette for more than 15 years. They always deliver very tasty food. The pastas and pizzas are top quality! The flower terrace provides the perfect setting to enjoy these meals.

A really big thank you to Enzo and his staff for helping us celebrate our son's 30th birthday. The food was lovely and fresh and cooked to order. We were a table of 15 and sat outside on the terrace which overlooked the sea, a perfect spot. He was happy for us to bring our own champagne and birthday cake which added to the occasion. Well done and keep up the good work. I would be happy to eat there again when visiting Italy.

Acquadimare is a beautiful restaurant in a delightful garden setting close to the sea in Acquappesa, a fantastic town in Calabria, Italy. Acquappesa is a small town, and Acquadimare is probably the most upscale restaurant in the area, which is reflected in the surroundings, but the food is true to the honest, fresh and traditional quality you would expect in Calabria.Staff are friendly and helpful and you can get by without knowing much Italian if you put your faith in them!Try the trofie ai frutti di mare, its amazing.

Come già descritto in altra rece,mi trovavo in zona con la famiglia; panino e cornetti ,oook ,pizza non provata. Panino medio con salsiccia semipiccante, provola, patatine e lattuga con mayo, 6 euro che spettacolo. Cornetti buonissimi. Voto 8- per incoraggiare a fare meglio. Pollo panato confezionato ecco il meno. BRAVI.

Solid tradition from the territory. The sea is a few meters away, nice view. Go for mixed "antipasti" and half-meter-fried-sea-food (yes, half meter) for each person. You will taste the very typical flavours of the area, probably don't get to the bottom of your plate (portions are big) and not regret it. Nothing special about wine selection. Prices are mid-ranged for the region. Quality-to-price ratio is good.

We stopped here for a late dinner in beautiful Guardia. This place is located across the street from the sea. It was late so we couldnât see but Iâm sure during the day itâs really nice. We started with fries calamari. This was the only time I ate calamari for the whole 2 weeks I was in Italy. I was a bit disappointed. It was a bit chewy and not flavored very well. My main dish was linguine with clams and it was excellent. The clams were fresh and the flavoring was perfect. My wife had a pasta dish with tomato sauce and mozzarella and it was delicious. Service was good here and everyone was very friendly. When I come back I will try again.Thanks for the review.When he returns he will surely find excellent squids.
